sender has finally reached the big milestone with its catalogue number 100. what a ride it has been through the past 16 years! on this occasion we proudly present a special selection of tracks and collaborations produced by label-head benno blome. a series of tracks, or rather a series of night shots. shots taken in the absence of daylight, capturing raw b/w-stills of spirit and drive. the first night shot (send100.1) is coming with a stunning original version of >check check< by benno blome featuring vox by konrad cadet aka baby ford on side a, and two strong remixes by mihai popoviciu and dub taylor on the flipside. mr taylor is also known as tigerskin, not only on sender’s catalogue. a lot more to come soon...

by the time sewer sender had their inaugural appointment, nokato nomer found his way to the assembly right as remnants from the pulsing waste conformed. with ssndr002 we make acquaintance with nokato nomer who establish his granular sound with a clear vision. a1 is a steady paced roller with a primary chord that resonates throughout the entire release. a2 expands this notion by widening the soundscape and opens up for an introspective passage while b1 finds its way home with a long running dub version of a1 the flip side.

walking the solitary path of damp scent martinou brings forth the first deliverance from label sewer sender. ssndr001 introduces martinou with a-side * needless* focusing on melodic tendencies, breaking it down into reverse madness. b-side procedure is strictly rhythmic fit for both 45 and 33 rpm play. with function in mind this release of raw sewage is constructed for the sole purpose of club play.

as if formed from the vapors of sewer senders previous releases, eletun selona renders two pieces that have roots far down in the ground, while the air above is allowed to escape mysteriously unseen yet obviously present. a1 forms a body of evocative sounds using rhythm as its core, while a2 reminisces the allurement of a1 with enthralling melodies. on the flip side detroit resident segv elevates the embodiment of eletun selona’s works. the detroit mix decodes the a-side in a sharp manner, while b2 concludes segv’s feature with a deep interpretation, wrapping up the release in a solid execution.

but the continuous stream wouldn’t provide sufficient answers for long. observing rudimentary structures sewer sender became tantalized with a vision of reverbation from lower vaults of confinement. waves reminiscent of solid concrete yet deeply seated below the ocean surface form and merges with the narrow surroundings. manitou takes the first step by setting a clear form for something deep seated. proceeding extends the notion of martinous inaugural appointment “procedure” with a take on industrial drums reverbing from the depths. never (anthem) takes the first part of the ep to fruition with stripped anthemic stabs and alarms to a strict and cleanly distorted beat. jargon solidifies concrete solid with enigmatic percussions over jaunty kick patterns. i have lost again focus on a dramatic narrative with hypnotic vocal stabs rolling over an intense kick and climatic builds. needlessness frames the entire release combining both the concrete solid and the deep sea seated with again a take on martinous inaugural release “needless”&#894,,, leaving the frail thematic stab subdued by syncopated kicklike percussion and soaring hihats to create a toollike appearance.
