we are pleased to announce the debut release of a young producer from the uk, bnjmn. his adventurous electronic sound is one we haven t heard in a while, and excited us on first listen. while on one hand his music has a traditional sound (early 90s uk), bnjmn does create a world of his own due to the versatility in his productions. it is this versatility that creates an exciting hybrid sound, therefore pushing the envelope and making it sound very current, future even

when we released aardvarcks nosestep as part of his well well well ep in the summer of 2007 it cause quite a stir in the then formative dubstep scene, almost anybody played that track. now we re-release it with a new version by cosmin trg, who transformed it into a strong acidic stepper, 2010 style. on the b-side we find an unreleased nubian mindz remix from aardvarcks spoken release from 2001. we didnt release it at the time, but with the whole new future house movement coming strong, the timing couldnt be more perfect

lando is known for teaming up with low limit as lazer sword, a future hip-hop from group from the bay area. his solo tracks are freaked out juggernauts of electronic music, primarily experimenting with various mutations of house. dense instrumentation, analog synth and drum machine work, complex melodies, and creeping basslines are pooled from his musical obsessions with 90s rnb, classic house, freestyle, garage, detroit techno, early synthesizer music, timbaland, and… to be honest, everything in between.
