stug music was born in april 2007 organize events in the netherlands. club venues like paard van troje the hague, doornroosje nijmegen & studio 80 amsterdam were homebase of 55 events where (inter)national artists were invited. focus on programming (inter)national heroes of the past, the present & the future it was always a big wish to start a music label. january 2018 was the digital premiere of stug music, label & events runned by bart van rijn. two original tracks from the founder remixed by specialists in their genre perel & rhadow. with the second release in prospect a special vinyl >remix edition< will be pressed also remixes from kris wadsworth & carlos nilmmns. from dance floor orientated house & techno to indie electronic music.

the funk n deep 2015 ade sampler paves the road to amsterdam dance event featuring our artists from all across the world. from chart-topping veterans to rising artists, this album is the hottest and latest sampling of funk n deep records distinct flavor and passion for deep, dark, and dirty techno grooves.

dynarec started making music in 1994. his productions, influenced by drexciya and dopplereffekt, are a mix of deep atmospheric pads and leads with – cool to very heavy – drums.his first releases on delsin in 2003 and 2004 were picked up by dj’s such as laurent garnier and dave clarke. after some more records on nature and kondi, he started his own « vaporwave » label in 2005, four records were released to date. he is able to fill in some very emotional and melodic workout that makes you wonder, how is he able to do that? playing piano since he was 6 years old could be an answer to his performing skills. apart from delsin, nature and kondi, he has also released on southern outpost, electrix and lately, on keith tucker’s puzzlebox label (us) and on cultivated electronics (uk). dynarec also releases music under the names of speakwave and chris kalera. he has performed worldwide, including festivals such as the famous stereolize, in paris, and the amsterdam dance event, amongst others.

after their stunning 2014 debut ep i.d., shadow movement, created by music producers raphael bartel and raul monteiro, return to the scene with their second single whales released by the label d.o.c. created by acclaimed producer gui boratto. whales was announced at ade (amsterdam dance event) on 2014 and has been long expected by music lovers. the new ep has two tracks: whales part one and its progression whales part two and is released on vinyl, in a limited edition. it will be the fourth release from the label d.o.c., the ep brings all the darkness and deep harmonies with a melodic touch the duo is known for, its an exciting step for the project and the label alike

for the sixth instalment in our catalogue we are extremely happy to be welcoming two new faces to the tribal pulse family. during our label showcase at last years amsterdam dance event, sonic union from sweden and khen from israel voiced their intentions to collaborate on writing a track in the specific style of tribal pulse. the week before our showcase at this years ade we have the privilege of releasing it, and we think you will agree that they have hit the nail on the head.

in his biography, arjuna schiks is described as a producer with an ability to bring the human out of the machine, unleashing our emotions. after listening to doha , we were affected in the same way. simply put, his music makes us feel good. melodic accents and danceable rhythms blend in purposeful unison, and it is with the doha ep that arjuna will join wir. he has appeared on gem records, manual music, traum, and trapez, with original eps, and has recently graced a number of labels with remixes, leaving his signature on each ep. his production output is impressive, and like most greats, his sound continues to grow and develop with each studio session. arjuna resides in amsterdam, where he has developed a distinct and solid sound, and a loyal fan base. he performs live close to every weekend all over holland. we invited arjuna to come and perform as the special guest at our treibstoff 14.5 year anniversary party for his first ever performance on german soil. his set was received with smiling faces and hands in the air, coming from the brimming dance floor of colognes gewölbe, a warm welcome to say the least. we had the pleasure of spending some time together after the event, and his character is just like his music. he is a cheerful and passionate person with a bright sense of humor and we are elated to welcome him to wir. keep your ears open, for there is more to come..

gem sampler 2.1 and 2.2 come just in time for a gem records >amsterdam dance event showcase< at the westerunie on saturday october 24th including a big poster and advert campaign for the sampler! artists featured on gem sampler 2.1 (gem006) are secret cinema and tom laws who both dropped a big fat techno bomb and peter horrevorts who supplies us with a huge peak time loop-disco techey stomper. nice… on gem sampler 2.2 (gem007) egbert provides an energetic yet deep and hypnotic techno track while roger martinez delivers a giorgio moroderesque italo influenced tech houser. on the flip, its kaap de goede hoop who bring some warm deep housey flavours to the mix and arjuna schiks who finishes it off with a big funky percussive groover.
