bentons been firing out the highest calibre of releases recently, and this, his third for wheel & deal, is no exception.
sleepless was featured on the mighty wheel & deal vol.1 album mixed by n-type. another deep roller, industrial warped bass and snare, crisp percussion and deep sub. played out exclusively by n-type, youngsta, distance and walsh.
wormholes: a dark rolling monster, spaced out and sparse with a chest rattling sub and minimal percussion. bentons signature industrial basses sear through the darkness giving you more cutting edge half step, a sound originally coined by youngsta in 2004. this has been battered exclusively by youngsta, n-type, distance.

following the sub-aqua bass explorations of benton for box clever earlier in 2011, he returns to release a true depth charge on black box. >skeptics< follows the intro of cryptic vocal samples with a tightly-wound combo of neck-snapping drums and cavernous bass emanations. on the flip benton raises the tension levels with >thermo-stellar<, with mystic soundscapes ripped apart by the menacing snarl bass.

started in 2005 as collaboration with a friend, terrain records had releases from manchester artists s.n.o & omen, with remixes from a young skream, and n-type. the label lay dormant for 5 years, but for 2011 n-type has decided to relaunch the label, focusing on 140bpm jungle & hardcore influenced dubstep. for the 3rd release on the label, n-type presents two young artists with a love for the oldskool hardcore junglist sound benton and arc 88. a side >having fun< by benton is reminiscent of early jungle, with rolling amen breaks, thunderous reece bassline, and classic pitched up female vocals. this tune has been a staple in n-types dubplate collection aa side >2 many< by arc 88 is a dancehall killah! 140bpm jungle rinser, featuring ragga vocals and a euphoric breakdown. featured on the new wheel & deal records album mix by dj n-type, this track is a standard reload. both tracks are currently being battered by n-type, skream, dismantle, walsh, bluesy, chefal and cluekid to name a few.

benton is making a name for himself in the dubstep scene with his dark and brooding productions. he has released on labels like boxclever and biscuit factory but he is most well known for his tracks on n-types wheel & deal imprint.

massive support on these two tracks. mary anne hobbs, hatcha, benga, skream, etc etc. benton is one of the dubstep scenes brightest up and coming stars, he has some serious talent when it comes to production with his tunes getting support from some of the leading names in the dubstep scene including n-type, hatcha & distance to name a few. tes la rok is a dubstep dj & music producer from east helsinki, finland. he was one of the first international names to break thru in the scene few years ago. walsh says his style is very energetic and his sets full of uptempo tracks, >i m really into the more techy, futuristic side of the sound. mystical pads, staggered beat patterns, weighty sub bass Ë i love it mate!<
