µ-ziq wraps up 2022 with an album of new material.

>duntisbourne abbots...< is u-ziqs first new album for four years and first new material released since 2005. its a more reflective body of work compared to the whirlwind of chaos that was bilious paths, introspective and rather melancholic, u-ziq revisits his roots in the early 90s ambient techno scene pioneered by, among others, the black dog, aphex twin and himself.

interesting mix of ambient thru to crunched up industrial percussive numbers. took me a while to appreciate it as its definately challenging stuff! the copy i purchased in 1994 has the track >paco< instead of >crosstown traffic<.
