romina johnson is a vocalist that needs little introduction, known worldwide for her chart-smashing moving too fast single back in 2000, and now more notably for being part of the hugely successful disco group odyssey, her amazing songwriting & performing talents have taken her right to the dizzy heights of musics elite.

in the beginning of 1991 marius kuilenberg and maarten van der vleuten teamed up together and recorded two eeps for djax, *magic moments* and *...gives you central house*. marius being a dj with a great feeling for production and with a large collection of samples and maarten being a musician/technician with an own studio, turned out to be a good combination. after the two releases mentioned above, marius and maarten split up. marius focused on dj-ing only and maarten continued working as major malfunction on his own.

soulfuric trax is back in action, this time round with pacha ibiza resident matt caseli and production duo shik stylko in tow. with me sorprendiste (spanish for you surprised me), the guys deliver a sizzling slice of house that will have the dancefloors on fire in no time. the piano percussion spiced original mix is built around a hugely catchy spoken/sung male vocal whilst the staffan thorsell & georg neufeld dub is a slick, more laidback affair.the shik stylko dub brings on the heat for the more upfront floors with electroey stabs and punchy beats. franco de mulero and ferry b add a very cool instrumental led version, making me sorprendiste a seriously hot package for the summer
