needs is a not-for-profit record label & collective lovingly curated by bobby pleasure. we believe in people. the concept of the label is to use music as a medium to spread love, unity and the idea of giving back. promoting harmony and togetherness rather than isolation and estrangement, each release and accompanying event will act as a support stream to various issues within society such as mental health, homelessness and equality. for the second release we have tracks from tilman, jonny rock, lucky charmz & pletnev. four artists from different countries of the world who all have the needs factor, and have very kindly donated their music to the dancefloor. all profits from this release will be donated to the homelessness charity crisis. everybody has needs.

lehultsub is dedicated to dj-friendly flips, chops and spins, brought to you on a limited edition of hand-stamped white labels. the a-side introduces tony rainwater, who shows us his straight up approach to editing: find an obscure sample, speed it up, make it hit. the second track on this side, lets celebrate less hats loops the dance floor in a frenzy. tony will return for a full 12inch on lehult early 2017. the b-side, my love 4 u will neva die by lucky charms has been played by all of the lehult crew for a year already and has been requested over and over ever since. its rugged, curveball approach catches the crowd by surprise and makes for some unique dance floor moments.

the lehult crew goes back to beach with this v.a. full of blistering sundowners. inspired by utopian visions of northern holiday destination sylt - germanys white isle - the four tracks ooze a sense of lighthearted optimism. rave (sylt tv) is a photo-op of a track: a chilled bottle of rose at buhne 16 or a long night at rotes kliff with girls in sequin dresses. refreshing fruit, tasty fruit paints a lighter picture of the same theme. think a tasting tour of 15 different kinds of sparkling water. dj assams sandy warms things up with distant laughter and swirly synths. but stay cozy, because a change of weather is always around the corner. blueberry icetea is closing things out with a hom-age to the jolly car-train that connects sylt to the mainland - the only reasonable way to come and go!
