finally after 3 years season 1 comes to an end. the birth of concept that has led to the evolution of who we are today. we’ve had the pleasure of working with some incredibly talented artists that have been an inspiration to us helping us shape and form a part of our identity. that is because several reasons is not just about the music, it is about the experience, the exploration, the collaboration, the up times and the down times, the good times and the better times, for the journey… closing off the first season made no other sense than to seal it with a special collaboration from the owners of several reasons, dubit & mynude. an ep that that truly provokes and challenges boundaries of the stereotypical label of “music”. covering all aspects of ambient, atmospheric and experimental types of sounds, the release really an experiment of psychoacoustics.

every place, in which the human being lives, imposes you to choose. we are continually bombed by voices that try to check us and more our mind digs in the depth of own heart, more we hear the necessity to go over the barriers that are built. this way we are and so we will stay. we walk in a crowd of voices and we are continually looking for a something that can maintain us hungry and rebellious against our bossy ego.

showcasing his wide range of sound design, the mysterious berlin resident, dubit makes his debut on hidden recordings with a forward thinking and boundary pushing inspiring release that ranges from industrial techno to glitch dub. completing the release is a jaw-dropping remix by one of technos fastest rising stars, uk and subfigure label owner, jason fernandes.

coeter one shows two tracks in perfect style of the label. nutempo vinyl records means high-quality of minimal techno. sounds clean, modern and dark. repetitiveness that joins cadenced rhythms, perfect for the dancefloor. never boring and always something unexpected. the remix of >dreesch< signed by veteran mike wall (der hut, aspekt, eins plus, etc.) is decidedly more techno, sounds coming from deep, riffs that seem to remember an old school .. but fresh and strong. the version of >lankow< signed dubit (eminor) is essential and deliberately directed to the dancefloor in the darkest moments.

eminor goes 30! even with round numbers, eminor continues ist path of digging deep into the universe of talents, coming up with a mix of freaky weirdness and heavy reduction. a1: jon seber - juggernaut. after listening to this masterpiece, people will almost certainly agree that this a guy is one to watch! a2: jon seber - juggernaut (benjamin fehr rmx). benjamin fehr turns the original into a wobbling universe of strangeness, an orchestra of the weird. b1: reagen - black clock. with reagen s black clock, eminor dares to step back into the world of harsh and heavy techno, excellent production, a massive order of drums in time. b2: reagen - black clock (dubit s quiet bimix). dubit analyses the black clock with an equally focussed, clear structured yet more subtle approach, toolish and monumental.

eminor 29 again comes up with massive minimalist techno.
coeter one & dubit - granatapfel - bring together a german and an italian sound designer and you get an experimental mixture of drums and carefully quantized grooves. the minimalistic framework of >granatapfel< is teamed up by vocoded vocals and an unique break which leads majesically from confusion to musical order.
scalameriya - ridley - by the serbian techno-guru scalameriya has a fast and pushy bass-dominated rhythm, an almost factory-like precision and a compulsive eye on the floor.
granatapfel - re:axis s going down remix - the remix of portuguese duo re:axis is less stripped-down than the original. with its thrilling melody, re:axis manage to give the track an epic touch.

444/5/6 is the first four-track ep signed by unc on the very recently born techno label aiia recordings based in lyon, france. unc (also known as dubit) means « uncompromise » (unc0mpr0m153), even by laws and habits of techno, for a free production and a free interpretation of this music composed by this berlin based techno producer. 444/5/6 is blending different ways of sound creation, as if every element in life might be used in unc s music. some industrial samples are combined with dark techno basslines and ambient synths, attesting of the experimental side of the artist. in his work, unc is giving a true estheticism to sounds normally cold and impersonal in the context of daily life. 444 blends a kind of dark and deep samples which reverberate on an almost acid but hypnotic rythm.sloven s re-interpretation of 444 puts in this track, keeping the original samples, some digital sounds on a evolving rythm... like an heart, beating and racing along this track. 445 is the most electronic, rythmically speaking, track of this ep. still gathering techno, with adding industrial samples, which makes 445 the kind of experimental track by unc. 446 is the track which most refers to techno as it s known and produced nowadays. when soft and really high synths meets agressive and speedy rythms.

for our 3rd vinyl release the keyword to demonstrate is freedom. a word that today is always more and more eclipsed. starting with an original mix from our young french talent deam, with his solid and hypnotic basslines, -empie- is a well executed raw techno track. the release is completed by remixes from dubit, eomac and myler. the first remix from dubit, brings a unique groove absorbed in a network of industrial sonorities, aggressive and fraught, ready to kill any dance floor. on the b1 side, we have a killer remix from eomac with his poetic fast broken-beat grooves and frozen atmospheres. this is a mix between d&b, jungle and idm which makes it a perfect execution. myler demonstrates his full personality with his own interpretation bringing out a dark and mystical feeling through a static and engaging evolution

amazing techno and nothing for weak nerves. monya starts her own label corresponding positions with a belter of an ep. nothing less then two originals produced by herself plus remixes by perc and bas mooy. while the title track >steine im weg< is constantly raving forward with some distorted yet energetic basslines the second original >verweht< is more about the atmosphere and depth of sounds. perc and bas mooy both reworked the second track and definitely added a lot of raw power to this piece of vinyl. its an authentic and varied 4 tracker which will for sure find ist way to plenty of record cases and triggers our curiosity for what correspondign positions will come up with in the future. mastering by dubit, soluxion lab berlin.

frucht - only deals with fresh fruits. the berlin label decided to start the 12inch series with 3 remix compilations to give an overview of the labelsound. somewhere between minimal, techno and tech house but always with a club aspiration fruchts >aprikose< is more than a dynamic and powerful dance floor killer: heavy drums, groovy basslines and twisted vocals are perfect for bright open airs as well as for dimmed clubs. labelhead coeter one and his mexican partner splatter are not releasing a specific genre - but smart productions really have to rock the body and soul by the use of outstanding sound-selections and brilliant arrangements. this is what we call >fruity<. are you ready for an exciting future with frucht label?
