magdalena s -elementum ep- is her first full ep on diynamic music. the 3-tracker marks the beginning of a busy summer season for her. the opening track -mountains of es cubells- pays tribute to ibiza s after party culture – which occurs in private houses that open when the clubs close, out in the warm air and sunlight, and a very intimate atmosphere. the protagonist s verdict -i think tonight i see ibiza like it was 25 years ago- sums it up perfectly. -nautilus- is a dreamy melodic house cut, ethereally swerving through a sea of hypnotic percussions and brassy synth elements.
closing off the record is -radialis-, a brooding and gloomily minimalistic techno tune.

karmon is presenting the second edition of diynamic musics picture:series, an eclectic mix of mystic deep house cuts. diynamic musics picture:series is a document in time, showcasing an artist s current creative output in order to allow the listener to visualise and understand the artist at a certain moment. it is not an album format, but far more than merely an ep. picture: is various dancefloor-oriented facettes of one producer, shaping the imagery that ultimately results in the listeners mind.

in june 2011 dj phono will release his first album on hamburgs record label diynamic. >welcome to wherever you re not< is a work of heart, of emotions of awakened, flourishing, and unrequited feelings. its something of a kind that could neither be accomplished within a nights work nor even in a cycle of nights, but only in good time.

with a sound that straddles electro, funk, disco and house, oslo based duo ost & kjex return with their second long-player cajun lunch on hamburg based imprint, diynamic. the debut album, to their big surprise awarded them a nomination for best electronica album at the norwegian grammys and the pair continued to develop their sound on releases such as more songs about cheese and revolutionary tarts, how not to be a biscuit and boston food strangler. since then the food boys have awoken, got their hands on some serious sounds and started shredding out tunes aimed at the dance floor.

the new album, liquorice, from martin stimming wasnt initially planned to be an album. there was an intrinsic need for him to express what was going on in this period of life. relationship problems led to a very punk, off-whack attitude to his producing. with seven tracks done and dusted, he figured the work was more than just a collection of weird shit, it was a whole new music experienceÉ add another 5 months of studio work, he named it liquorice. definitely hard to pigeonhole - call it minimal, stripped back, dub, experimentalÉ we think >electronic free jazz< comes the closestÉ no sign of a typical 4/4 bass drum at all and stimming has incorporated his trademark use of field recordings, from a marble run, a pizza slicer, a trashcan, a coffee machine, and an ice train shuttling past to name a few. the stimming esque percussion, which is even more radical this time, has been thrown in with all these facets in his massive melting pot, coupled with some dark emotions to create this liquorice. >this time i didnt use all the main events a groove normally has<, recalls martin

diynamics new member duo hunter/game suprise with their first diynamic release. the two young boys from italy, emmanuele nicosia and martino bertola, bringing a really nice groove with them! its exactly the sound, diynamic stands for: deep basslines combined with groovy, harmonic vocals add up to the newest diynamic ep reckless lady. on their first visit to diynamics residency club, the ego in hamburg, hunter/game gave a first impression of the love and enthusiasm they have for their music. the first track >under< opens with a clear message: these boys really know what they are doing! driving hi-hats, a pumping, deep bassline and smooth vocals are giving this track a pretty nice groove. the second track on the ep boogie music sets apart from the other tracks. this cooperation with freakme is getting really funky! a beautiful vocal part, that is developing its full power in the first breake will make you move! with reckless lady, the third track on the ep, hunter/game made a perfect club tune. its again the nice combination of an accented, deep bassline, a repeating, catchy vocal and powering percussions that makes this track so nice. the ep ends with crazy enough, a melodic tune with epic vocals! all in all hunter/game proved their feeling for the special deep house sound, diynamic stands for and produced a great first ep.

having recently earned the residency at diynamics club ego, he prepares to drop his first productions with the hamburg label. a wonderful three track selection, showcasing the exciting talents of the young producer. enjoy.
