wie es scheint sind alle begeistert von santa cruz track mais uma chance, einem der herausragenden songs auf der letzten too slow to disco brasil edition. der berliner jack tennis hat für uns seine magischen hände an den track gelegt und eine dj-freundliche yacht-disco version abgeliefert, die santa cruz selbst so begeistert hat, dass er uns persönlich darum bat diesen remix zu veröffentlichen. jack tennis ist ein berliner produzent, der kopf vielerlei projekte ist. er veröffentlicht seine eigene musik unter dem namen hotlane (gomma records) und liefert stetig disco-edits für das einflussreiche uk disco label midnight riot (von yam who!). um die veröffentlichung abzurunden, konnten wir die italienische rework/edit legende les inferno überzeugen uns seinen unveröffentlichten track brazilewis einen chill-out slo mo groover zur verfügung zu stellen. die nummer findet sich schon seit einiger zeit in jedem dj supermarkt set! les inferno veröffentlicht auf samosa records, eines der hippsten neuen edit/rework labels, das eigentlich strictly vinyl ist. seine tracks wurden z.b. schon von niemand geringerem als moodyman in seinen sets eingesetzt. eine streng limitierte 10inch mit den beiden tracks wird es erst ende august geben.

lumièreslanuit (lln) is glad to introduce to you to samochai (llnoff004), 4th release of its off series by bremen-based music composers and djs massud matin & smisou. samochai ep presents two different atmospheres that lumièreslanuit and its off series are particularly fond of: deep- and dub-techno. indeed, whereas massud matin take us out of ourselves with the deep, atmospheric and mind-blowing beats of zal, smisou imm­­erses us in his musical world with the dubby, cadenced and aquatic beats of chanj. massud matin & smisou celebrate the same music since 2012. the beginning of their collaboration was marked by a couple of digital releases like smisou’s remix of massud matin’s come on (2015) and his keemun ep (2016) — in collaboration with miynn — on samani that also includes a remix by massud matin. more recently, massud matin & smisou released parand de muth on brosh records. finally, in december 2017, massud matin brought out his first vinyl ep like you (tprl03) on romanian label tupiar records.

with smashing contributions by electro lord legowelt from dirty brown the hague and bleep addict garçon taupe from the bourgeois slums of amsterdam, narrominded presents the fourth installment in its renowned split lp series. both sides of this split lp comprise a whole ep in length, and the contributions have in common that they are both deeply rooted in electro music.
on garçon taupes wittenburg ep, eighties infected drum computer beats and heavy bass lines pave the way for some rather cheerful and unpretentious melodies. the five tracks were mixed to tape at rude 66s triple six lounge studio, and reveal influences from electronic pioneers like yellow magic orchestra and mantronix, to todays acid freaks like luke vibert and like a tim. the end result is a catchy mixture of electro and acid.
legowelt explores the darker corners of electronic music in four tracks leaning on eerie vocals and grungy electro beats. his land rovers in astrophysics ep takes us to mysterious environments. we are spacing out on the force of the stars, the universe, etc, and dancing to hypnotic drums on a mystical trip to pago pago west samoa. legowelt not only knows how to to satisfy a dance floor, but is also capable of deeply appealing to the listeners imagination.
