the best things come in threes: after his recent success with the the devil in me, a glorious collaboration with oliver koletzki as part of großstadtmärchen 2, and the big jet plane ep for our good friends at dantze, poster-boy jan blomqvist presents his first 12inch on stil vor talent, ink. things kick off with the title track, whose classic song structure and romantic melodies rub elegantly against tougher, sometimes distorted electronic percussion to create a tension that would be at home on a radiohead lp
after successful remixes for oliver koletzki, niko schwind and animal trainer, its björn störigs turn to deliver the goods on his first solo ep, >humming top<. and boy, does he deliver: the fresh youngster presents high-calibre musical house, spiced up with funk, disco and jazz aesthetics. title track >humming top< doesnt waste much time: crisp percussive elements are laid over a beefy bass-line from the get-go, while a progressive piano melody mingles with a distinctly vintage synth.
new talent meets old talent on stil vor talent. thats how we roll. label daddy oliver koletzki was so impressed with the winner of the niko schwind remix competition that he is now releasing two tracks by him on this ep. meet ryan dupree who shares this release with sonic mastermind erich lesovsky, one of the most exciting sound creators this side of the atlantic.
and here it is: the second vinyl ep of niko schwinds album >good morning midnight<. it features some of the unique tracks that niko has created together with some of berlins hottest production talents. on the a side are two tracks that feature the clicky tech-house boys that are channel x, where things kick off with >back from the bar<. it sounds as the title suggests: a little wobbly, a little drunk, a little crazy, but also pretty magic. quite clearly this is an homage to one of berlins not-to-be-forgotten clubs that is unfortunately history now. but things continue on here at least with >dont turn the lights on<, a more straightforward dancefloor track, with a trumpet as the main protagonist. this is one of those tracks that keeps leading up to a real arms-in-the-air-moment if it wasn’t so damn housy at the same time. on the flip the magical connection between niko and label daddy oliver koletzki can be heard on >master of ceremony<, a chopped-up house track with epic dimensions. when things get to the piano breakdown, they get very musical and colossal before dropping back into a great house track. the stark contrast between the piano melody and the groove on this really make it. last but not least then, the original album opener >good morning< that features the singing of fran. it works great as a great album opener, but also perfectly as a slower and more thoughtful addition to a great ep
der untergang refers to an dystopian city in which from one day to another everybody went crazy - the perfect outline for the remixers oliver koletzki, umami and label heads aka aka! every remix comes with a different vibe and mood. koletzkis housy interpretation is perfect for the late evening hours and brings some carribean flair on the dancefloor, umami comes up with a real tech house stomper while aka aka elevate us to another level of their collabortion with their trumpeter thalstroem. must have!!
big with: chloé, oliver koletzki, someone else, sweet n candy, niko schwind, click | click, till von sein, p.toile, nicolas duvoisin, sebastian wilck, sven jozwiak, randoman, marsmellows, ... the next release from berlins kassette records is ready to rock! after three years and great releases on stil vor talent and upon you, channel x are back on kassette. while touring europe andre and miko produced two solid and really groovy techno/ tech house smashers for their second release on kassette. as a bonus m_ferri and the microbodies add two remixes to this mindblowing release. m_ferri delivers a funky tech house mix while the microbodies (mixed at >audiomoto<) focus on 80s disco sounds.
new label from super flu ... support by super flu, karotte, nick curly, marco carola, sebastien leger, mark broom, dubfire, oliver koletzki, monika kruse..
this is the first of two vinyl releases of the channel x debut album >the x files<. andré and mirko decided to put four smashers on this first ep: it kicks off with circus-infused polka minimal tech track >freak show<. next up is >strange girl<, the tooly and soulful vocal tech-house that channel x have become renowned for. on the flip its channel x show how deep their house approach can go on the super sweet male vocal track >snug descent<. last, but surely not least this ep finishes with >we love the x<, a perfect showcase of what channel x stand for: vocals, effects, big basslines and strong loops.

groovebox ep is filled with some class a material for the raunchy dancefloor. first up there is into the club. this track is typical for channel x: it will blow off the roof in the club! as the title of the track already suggests, this is another one of channel xs lengthy journeys into nightlife extravaganzas. a wonderful fidgety bassline and a loop filled with loads of soulful vocal samples from strong male leads to sensitive female souls, this tune is both deep, touchful and destroying. the chainsaw effect session in the middle paves the way for more stomping tech-house business. no time to recover from this, because on the flip its straight onto the floor with wake up: a loop thats made of trillions of little cut-up effects, vocal bits and some straight four to the floor business. after a playful beginning the tune moves into an hypnotic piece of trippy techno only to be converted into a restless party anthem for the Überpeak-time. sick! perhaps there is some time to chill with the last of the three tracks that is against the wall. here it becomes clear what channel x are best at: to create dark, hard and moving electronic music with that special ingredient that is soul. this track is a perfect example: some frightening effects, lots of reverb on the creepy samples, but such a wonderfully harmonic sample that seems to shed light at the end of the never-ending afterhour. if there is a message to this music, it would be: you need to look hard, but there is always love. once again label boss oliver koletzki has picked up these two very talented producers very early upon their career and it has paid off: in one release being better than the one before
support by:andre galluzzi, gregor tresher, sebastien leger, oliver koletzki, nick warren, terry lee brown junior, roberto rodriguez , anderson noise, hernan cattaneo, robert babicz aka rob acid is back on circle music. the last strike from robert on circle music was the great and lyrical remix of dan corcos >new world<. he also convinced with his atmospherical work on way out wests >spaceman< on hope recordings and ruled on sytematic with the big album release >a cheerful temper<. robert, who is one of germanys very early techno and electro heroes, appeared on the last cricle music compilation with the unique >invasion< and will alo appear on the next circle compilation >the mechanic sound of nature<. for this it is only logical for the co-founder of shortcut records to release his latest two dancefloor sensations on circle.
dj support: umek, luca morris, oliver koletzki, emanuele inglese, chris liebing,.. hell yeah is proud to welcome italian dj/producer dyno on board. the cocoricò resident dj has made a name in the circuit for supersounding techno tunes on italian mantra vibes. this first ep on hell yeah shows up his ability to combine dark tinged melodies (robottino) with dynamic hard grooves (guerra aperta) and weird minimal trickness (teoremia), he keeps the dj friendly factor high without losing the alternative edge of his music... we think that dyno is about to become a key player in the techno community in the next months....you know where youve seen him first

cool solid 3 tracker by lützenkirchen !! the production dream team oliver koletzki and florian meindl have managed to convince south german techno mastermind lützenkirchen for the latest single on their collective flash recordings imprint. and how right they were! this release is most definitely among the strongest flash records so far and sets the tone for forthcoming releases. lützenkirchen, who has already released his own productions as well as tons of remixes on labels such as craft music, royal flush, polydor, ministry of sound or his home base great stuff
on the newest release of koletzki’s label stil vor talent the label manager has found both style and talent combined in the two producers jürgen kirsch from nuremberg and johnjon from berlin. jürgen kirsch, the man behind the cult label glückskind schallplatten. on the flip side its time for johnjon from berlin, who runs criminal records together with his production partner chopstick.

after his first release on flash recordings together with daso on the night express ep, pawas is now back with his very own three-track ep on the label of koletzki & meindl. all tracks were created in pune in india, pawas’ hometown, and the ep is about three different characters. alicia, charlie and edward. each one of them has a certain distinctive vibe about them: alicia is deep and eloquent, edward is more hectic and restless while charlie seems the funky and witty sort. in terms of music, edward is carried on a powerful, deep synthie melody, a big breathing bassline and some great percussive clicks and clacks that turn into a slightly ravey minimal burner later on in the tune. very hot! edward is a little lighter and is pushed forward by a great funky melody that creates the perfect after hour moment. imagine yourself on the beach when the sun is coming up. alicia on the a side is a deeper, more housy affair has a melodic, percussive and detroity appeal. pawas has managed to create a very fresh and unique signature sound and with releases on squonk, connaisseur and flash records, 2007 seems to be the year for him.
was für eine hymne !! ganz starkes release mit vollem support von anja schneider, trickski, oliver koletzki, kollektiv turmstrasse, rekleiner, und und und...
piemont had a furious premiere at gedankensport. the nightshift ep caused huge waves of response. frederic möring-sack and christian de jonquieres already had an excellent reputation as solo artists the last years but as piemont they brought up an extraordinary standard of minimal techno. they run their own labels suchtreflex, hammarskjold and fingerfoodmusic. their music is suitable for peak time as well as for after hours and listening comfort. their debut gained great public interest and soon top artists supported as thomas schumacher, oliver huntemann, oliver koletzki, monika kruse, deep dish and umek supported the tracks. heavy rotation accelerated by their next act of greatness at gedankensport and now we are proud to announce the follow-up which is another wonderful milestone of minimalism!
excellent remix by martin eyerer (kling klong) which was hammered by christopher just, oliver koletzki, robert babicz, gui boratto, oliver klein, gregor tresher and swen weber

francesco passantino known from tractor rec italy presents his first ep on whirlpoolsex. three wonderful tracks in style of minimal electro will flash you like moonbootica and oliver koletzki including an maximum minimal remix bomb by christian fischer sounds like audion, jürgens, jacek sienkiewicz and stephan bodzin
this is the first ep on flash recordings that doesnt feature label owners florian meindl and oliver koletzki. but they have made sure to look for a quality replacement. no one else than cologne-based artist daso - renowned for his previous releases on labels like mbf, session deluxe, ghostly and connaisseur - teams up with his buddy pawas to create their first release >night express< on flash. pawas has just had his first record out on adam krolls and markus müllers imprint squonk records and has been a dj for 9 years, moving from india to cologne one year ago. on the a-side daso & pawas foreshadow the summer with the track >tgv<: a beautifully deep melody that swings along a powerful loop. >ice< - the name of germanys high-speed train is clearly more electro-driven. a slightly broken beat with a thumping organic bassline pumps above an ever-changing soundscape that culminates in some euphoric high-pitched synths. never too much, this is a perfect example for elegant understatement. also on the flip side is the track >bummelzug<, which translates as >very slow train< in german. this is a dub-techno masterpiece. deep dubs and arpeggios flow over the simple beats with a great clappy snare drum. dreamy, hypnotic, melodic! flash recordings has just become fit for the summer
incl deutsche und albaner remix !! support by coburn, tomcraft, chloe, dlugosch, freeform 5, tomas andersson, kiki, oliver koletzki, naughty, toni rios, huntemann
