out of the depths of the cosmic pint comes a disco release from the alps of slovenia. complete with live bass guitars, sparkling arpeggios and swirling drifts of analogue equipment ichisan and nakova have constructed two beautifully stripped back tracks that chug along like a golden steam engine fueled on chanel no.5. with remixes by ruf dug and jonathan krisp.
POLYKARP (LP)
12 Inch LP

back in 2010 one of the first nang albums we released was from ichisan (along with nakova). step forward nearly ten years and we are delighted to present another fine masterwork from our slovenian friend.
SPACE PATROL EP
12 Inch
30.10.09
after the much-lauded altair nouveau 12 inch, released in association with dfa, solardisco returns with a fine three track ep from the slovenian boy wonder igor skafar aka ichisan. space patrol is a slice of lindstrom-inspired disco genius , robots from above nods to an italo influence while atanamamo is aimed square at the dancefloor with early support from the likes of aeroplane and pete herbert among others. with releases on eskimo, airtight and rare wiri already under his belt, a debut album (along with co-producer ule nakova) is due out early 2010 on nang, however, not before another release on airtight (with remix from bjorn torske no less), one on jisco/under the shade and a remix of legendary disco outfit space. expect to see/hear much more from ichisan in the very near future!

FROM THE STARS 2 (CD)
CD
21.06.11
following on from our ludicrous but well-received sci-fi covers album >from the stars volume 1< in 2010 we thought it was time for a sequel. cue the hyper-driven >from the stars volume 2<, an album full of disco and synthy-themed cover versions from obscure and not-so-obscure science fiction. we must be out of our interstellar minds...
