clash lion is a mix of three personalities, shall ocin, terr and daniel watts. three artists with different musical backgrounds merging forces to create a truly eclectic and open minded label. with an approach to release unique electronic music covering a multitude of genres from techno to retro electronica, their passion for innovative and experimental productions shows no boundaries. the labels debut release comes from maetrik, tantalizing us with an outstanding release. deep and dark warping modulation, twisting upon a bellowing low end is accompanied by searing experimental riffs slithering throughout cortex 11 - b ninex 7 û c has a low end drone of power, which builds slowing alongside a relentless hat before releasing into a mind bending synth pattern of pans and fluctuations. synth depth reigns supreme as the weighty beat kicks into gear, completing a truly mesmerizing maetrik 2 track production.
‘h’ contains work retrieved from body boys’ archive, to be released in march 2017. body boys pulls strains from the past and interiorises the future throughout ‘h : the inaugural release for civilised life. hand stamped on white reverse board. previous work by the artist includes two cassettes and an lp on opal tapes, ‘growth window’ (2013), hood spectrum (2016) and ‘no face’ (2015). other released work includes a range of cassettes for indole, music for downers and strange rules. mastered by beau thomas. artwork by craig gallacher.

club lonely s first 12 inch coming from san francisco drum machine freak vin sol. vinyl only wild chicago trax for club destruction. west coast producer and clone affiliate vin sol has been steadily banging the box creating his twisted takes on house, techno and whatever weird ass grey area that exists between the two. his sound is uncompromising, carefully crafted trax for the dance floor hinging on raw and stripped back grooves with relentless movement. this sentiment is also expertly conveyed in his dj sets and mixes.with his production getting support from both techno and house heavy hitters like marcel dettmann, larry heard, seth troxler, richie hawtin, len faki, scuba, joey anderson and boddika.
a careful work, a well illustrated journey, where the four cardinal points are 4 originals marked by a bass line sound that seems to come from a tb 303 just dusted off by a deposit of mr. ikutaro kakehashi .
