eating records is back ! as our main leitmotif has always been >quality over quantity<, it took us a bit of time to present you something very special. accustomed to solo stellar adventures in wonderful destinations such as bleu ciel, rackmizar, or joule imprint, teluric also traveled the space in duet with melodie under the name of glueped. this is the reason we did not hesitate to ask him to relate us his lunar epopee initiated in 2017. so here are the signals from the moon.
the ep titled -venere pribegind- tells the two part story of venere (venus) and her eternal odyssey around the sun, as we gaze upon it on our wild blue yonder. at dusk, she walks the heavens in a spirited, yet sorrow pace, a reminder of the dawn that follows.
as his label marks its 60th release, lost & found owner guy j returns with his brand new ep. guys modus operandi performs superbly with themes which would otherwise risk sounding aimless and decadent. his range is thrilling, thoughtfully arranged even in the thickest of textures, never heartless, blunt or unbalanced. both in his harmonious and production statements, guy j leaves nothing indisputable. each frequency is analyzed. each note adjusted.

ion ludwig is a leading light in contemporary minimal house, able to elicit fresh approaches from a well-worn club music template. he lands back on baby ford s trelik label with a chunky double pack of beautifully crafted rollers for the stripped down dance, leading in with the subliminal murmurs of -fall answers- and following it up with the incredibly groovy, bass-led -modern missing mood-. -le imagen- gets into a more wriggling, crafty configuration, while -felt like klariny space- lets trippy daubs of melody take centre stage. -sparse hypnotimes- does what it says on the tin, simmering down to a mellow, dubby haze of blue-hued keys and a slither of a beat.

the fifth release from the bunte kuh label is another winner: it comes from bardia salour and features three fresh originals with a remix from peter schumann. it s also set to be available on vinyl release too. salour is a german artist who runs his own esteemed events in hamburg and has played all over europe from watergate in berlin to culture box in copenhagen. his dub infused style is utterly distinctive and these new cuts prove that once more. north scapes opens up with a molten, acid tinged bassline. as it grows more wild there are icy hi hat loops layered in with some big piano chords to finish it in style and mean the floor will really go wild. liquid lava is more direct, with hard hitting techno kicks and deft synth sounds colouring in the grooves. then comes the excellent urban signals, a dramatic, dubbier cut with cavernous bottom ends and subtle, supple synths layering in warmth and atmosphere. last of all, peter schumann s lsd25 restyle of north scapes pairs it back to a warm, bubbly warm up house tune that will get you moving with its sonar blips and nice, deep cut and churning drums. all four of these tracks are fresh and classy efforts sure to make their mark.
