are you vogue enough? after contributing her mesmerizing lyrics to sinfols crystalline , barbara ford now debuts on anagram with her first solo ep titled sound of the siren. from her tense storytelling on the title track, brilliant contrasting elements on fashion week and fast paced power grooves on treason and amotan, barbara makes it very clear why she made herself a part of the anagram family with this stellar contribution to the dutch labels discography.

inter gritty follows his debut album up with another ep, going down a slightly more abstract path here. void offers plenty of depth with warm pads and subtle breaks, while blurred edges takes your mind for a spin with its cycles of bleeps and ever changing bass line. on the b-side, cure for madness is a gradually unfolding, moody techno builder with crisp beats and lush drones.

mono junks dum records has been dictating trends in the world of minimalistic techno since the 1990s, and its 34th release is as special as any. this one comes from label boss kimmo rapatti aka mono junk vs mesak, who is better known as fellow finn, tatu metsätähti, aka one half of mr velcto fastener and someone who has released on dexter & steffis klakson. together the pair serve up three mixes of their jam and an additional track. title track deep in my mind is a paranoid techno cut with freaky vocal riffs repeating the title as gurgling synth lines and sleek drums rumble below. twitchy synths and high pressure perc add to the hypnotic effect, and overall its easy to see this one making for some perfectly weird dance floor moments. the mix by mono junk is completely the opposite: in his hands it is a beat-less, serene and beautifully styled electro cut that takes you deep into brain soothing space. the electro mind version is then a full on electro jam, with plenty of aqueous synths and fluid lines all squiggling along in classic detroit style. final track sysdrum is back to the raw, with angsty drum lines, crisp and slapping snares and oodles of reverb all making for a brain frying trip.

on its first release, orioni makes its debut on 12inch with four tracks made in argentina. with jonas kopp, luis ruiz, mental resonance, and matt saderlan. this ep comes packed with four dancefloor weapons: jonas kopp with >mandelbrot<, contributes with a massive pounding rhythm full of atmospheres, with his classic groove based on solid kicks and hypnotic vibes, jonas presents full drum action around the percussion and sequences. for the a2 >triplets< is a track with a catchy 303 bass-line and roland drums programmed by luis ruiz. its acid classic signature comes with the task of bringing back that old school techno sound , whose roots had got lost in time. in the other side, mental resonance: >birth of omega century< has that fresh detroit techno style, and is ready to energize dance-floors with the groove of the 909 and hypnotic synthesizers. at least but not last, matt saderlan with >kids dist days<, destructive, corrosive and distorted letal weapon for acid lovers. no need to check your volume leds, yes, it is that banging. orioni has begun!

george k, dj and producer, born in 1981, based in milan. his first steps in music date back a long time, when he began taking an interest in mixing and scratching techniques. his roots are hip hop and reggae, but in a short time thanks to breakbeat (rockit - herbie hancock) he abandoned that sound for experimentations in electronic music: techno was love at first listen, detroit and acid above all. with the passing of time he has begun to dedicate himself as much as possible to productions using synth and drum machine. now he has begun his new venture as owner/manager of his label fu.me where he will focus his work on promoting new and old sounds - without forgetting his roots - offering bad and dirty sounds .
