das belgische label eskimo recordings ist discofreunden laengst ein begriff und in einem aehnlichen segment bewegt sich auch prismakone. seit der gruendung im jahr 2000 zerren die labelmacher immer wieder laengst vergessene dancefloor-perlen ans licht der oeffentlichtkeit. oftmals obskure platten erleben so ihren zweiten fruehling. mit daniele baldelli und marco dionigi stehen zudem zwei dj-urgesteine am mischpult. baldelli ist schon seit 1969 dabei und verfuegt mittlerweile ueber eine plattensammlung weit jenseits 60.000er marke. in norditalien ist er eine institution in sachen disco. an seiner seite steht mit marco dionigi ein weiterer altgedienter dj. seit 1989 legt er auf und hat sich weit ueber seine heimatstadt verona hinaus einen exzellenten ruf erspielt. die beiden hoerten zufaellig richard bones -alternate music for the hindenberg lounge pt.2- auf einer 1982-vinyl namens -the american music compilation- auf dem eurock label. baldelli spielte den track im cosmic club (in lazise, lake garda - verona ), aber mit 45 statt 33 rpm, und mischte mike oldfield s -foreign affair- drueber. sie kontaktierten richard bone mti diesem resultat: 13 tracks, komplett reedited, arranged, adaptiert und remixed von daniele baldelli & marco dionigi. als tribut an richard bone, als dankeschoen die inspiration.

space art is behind the massive hits: “onyx”, “give me love”, “love in c minor” and more. one of half of the band, dominique perrier, is one of legend jean-michel jarre’s closest collaborators. recognized as a keyboard virtuoso, he worked on all jarre’s albums from “rendez-vous” (1986) to “oxygène 7-1” (1997) and still tours with him around the world. space art also toured with him in china in the early ’80s. alongside jean-michel jarre and cerrone they are one of the most influential bands that pioneered electro music.

what happens when one of the most exciting electronic music projects of the last fifteen years meets the pioneer of cosmic disco? the result is stunning and with no doubt one of the most interesting things we have heard in a while. psycho radio was born in 2002 from an idea of the italian producer daniele tignino and sound engineer pat legato, with vocals from british singer leroy c anderson. they burst in the music scene with an innovative sound that took inspiration from the 80 s new wave, funk and electro grooves. tracks like in the undergroun and right stuff brought a breath of fresh air in those years, and they still sound very actual today. 2016 has seen the addition of producer da lukas to the project, with psycho radio now back with an explosive new single called bad reputation. once again with the captivating vocals by lc anderson. the legendary disco innovator daniele baldelli teams up once again with marco dionigi to bring us two stellar remixes that move from the funk infused vibe to their trademark cosmic balearic journey. an essential record for the final summer days.
