the berlin-based dj and producer eva be is no newcomer to the international dance-music scene. 2 years ago she released her long-player >moving without travelling< on bestseven / sonar kollektiv records creating her very own trademark dub-influenced electronic sound. this ep is the logical continuation of her musical output as she has been djing quite a heavy 4/4 sound in the last years playing alongside best works records djs andre lodemann, roland appel and alex barck of jazzanova in places such as goa/madrid, cookies/berlin, dampfzentrale/bern, etc.
>new crack< combines an electronic dub driven bass sound with classic old-school house influences - dancefloor business. darko essers mix is more intrecate giving the orginal a more dramatic crystalline twist. last but not least andre lodemanns previously unreleased remix of eva bes tune >she walks alone< sees the light.

with his new night called based on misunderstandings that he hosts in berlins famous club week end, alex barck delivers his personal vision of club music and invites friends that share the same djing philosophy. following the success of the club night, alex further developed his concept and decided to create a special 12inch series on sonar kollektiv. also named based on misunderstandings, this new collection should be regarded as a return to roots for every house dj. it is dedicated to hot club sound that takes you by surprise, gets you dancing without you even noticing it and that really needs to be played out loud now!
