moon harbour is proud to announce the imminent arrival of a new artist album from one of its core members. sven tasnadi s 12 track long player all in will be released in spring 2015 and is a second full length statement from one of the scene s most consistently on form producers.

the original he serves up here is my groove, a firmly rooted and solid bit of house music with classically inclined vocal chants by gjeazon from crazy like a fox records, that recall eddie amador s biggest cut. subtle details embellish the groove and make it all the more standout, and those deep looping basslines really pull you into the middle of the track, which also has airy hi hats and a sleazy sense of funk. the first remix comes from afterparty founder, rinse fm radio host, former usher tour dj, southern fried affiliate and pioneer collaborator doorly, who also runs his own pigeon hole label. his remix smooths out the kinks and simmers a grainy groove for seven shuffling, seductive minutes. rolling effects and a big breakdown are sure to make for some fist pumping moments in the club. last to remix is play it down producer and foremost danish dj christian nielsen. he does so with an increased sense of urgency and his track hits that bit harder as a result, all thanks to a dirty down low bassline that just rolls and rolls.

three cuts from sven tasnadi, member of the neighboring leipzig based moon harbour family. with this small things ep he is stripping down functional dancefloor ambitions and goes back to the subtle side of deeper housemusic. beside these three originals map.ache adds a pushing remix which portrays the first sign of musical life since his album release one and a half years ago.

sven tasnadi already has produced tracks from ambient and hip hop to electro and minimal – today youll find a new style on his roaster, and he did it in an awesome way: house music! a lot of his releases have been recently been coming out on vinyl, featured on labels such as cocoon, pokerflat, smallville or cargo edition – now we are proud to add stretchcat on his discography. watch out!!!

sven tasnadi is cargo editions longest-serving artist. his releases have shaped the sound of the label right from the start. he always succeeds in producing warm and light-hearted tracks, both as a solo artist and together with his co-producer stefan schultz aka juno6. unsurprisingly, this has attracted the attention of other labels like cocoon and poker flat, on which he has also released his records.

after part 3 of cocoons 10inch series, which was focussing on the british techno scene, we now return to germany with the fourth ep. the frankfurt-born markus fix grew up at the decks of helium bar, is now at home behind the decks of cocoonclub frankfurt and has been providing us with his innovative reinterpretation of house on labels such as cecille and oslo for the last three years.

uno6 and sven tasnadi demonstrate once again why they can be called some of the best producers in leipzig.

due to the long awaited cd compilation release and suddenly its morning smallville comes up with a third 12inch issue. the labels darling sven tasnadi, also known from his releases on ornaments, poker flat, cargo, oh!yeah! and liebe*detail, lightens up the dancefloor with a bright sparkling groover- new villalobosish moves with a deep emotional fill on the a-side. on the flipside we welcome the highly talented newcomer christopher rau to the smallville label-roster. christopher is a friend who hangs out at smallville record store in hamburg a lot. with friends he runs the hamburg/ munich based label dérive and delighted us and everyone with his ne travaillez jamais track earlier this year. for his debut on smallville christopher creates a reduced seductive track, subtly growing to total sweetness on the floor. and suddenly its morning… a w&p by sven tasnadi b w&p by christopher rau

2009 is quite obviously sven tasnadis year, having already released five eps this year on cream-of-the-crop labels like pokerflat, ornaments and liebe*detail. each ep revealed a new facet of the leipziger, riding the nuances between the 4/4 beat. after his ep >down under influence< with juno6 in spring 2009, tasnadi now dishes up his new solo ep on cargo edition. >what we do< is a classic housetrack - very deep and peppered with vocal shots that hold the tension of the track over its whole length. it s smooth, yet deliciously rough around the edges. >amour fou< on the b-side surprises with a very compact rhythm - around the driving bass drum fly percussive elements, all tied together by a reduced bassline, some interspersed vocal samples and deep chords.

sven tasnadi is a producer who, with every release, audibly and gracefully takes his style down the many different avenues of house and techno cityà his latest, brave work for poker flat then could perhaps be described as a midnight drive down main street, tempted by and lingering at some of the darker side streets, yet journeying on regardlessà.! its a fantastic ride from tasnadi, that sees two versions of the title cut plus a perfect b side track included for good measure. >habanero< is a tough, tracky concoction of thick bass led percussion, warbling, building sci-fi synths and classy hi-end hats. the unmistakable groove begins low and simply builds upwards, creating a 10 minute cabride through ultra-modern tech house, cuba style! we wont spoil the fun with the tingling breakdowns key momentà but theres also a (without trumpet) version on the b1à.! carrying on the chunky, dramatic vibes, >piri piri< dubs things out as a blissful and unique synth line carries this beautiful journey track along its honest and respectful path. a wonderfully resolute deeper moment from tasnadi, the phasing vocal stutters and pads play together with the central in delightful harmony, reminding us of the producers ear for touching and timeless arrangements

nice price deal !!! after releases on established labels like smallville, liebe*detail, cargo edition, freude am tanzen and more, daniel stefanik, sven tasnadi und stefan schultz (juno6) decided to provide their own basis in their hometown leipzig. oh!yeah! is supposed to be a platform for own productions that wont go with conventional and profit-oriented concepts. oh!yeah! wants to be different! somewhere between couch and dancefloor, if you like even a bit gaga. it shall reflect the freaky and humorous side of the three guys. one at a time, the releases of daniel, sven and stefan will appear in turns

there is no doubt that leipzig is a pulsating place in terms of electronic music. however, the potential of the city seems to be experiencing a new surge - not least due to up-and-coming producers like sven tasnadi and stefan schultz aka juno6. both belong to the generation of musicians who initially released their tracks for free on net-labels but have since have made the leap to vinyl. while sven tasnadi has already released great eps on liebe*detail, smallville records and of course on cargo edition, juno6 just recently made his debut with >salamis< in spring 2008 on broque. now they have joined forces with their first collaboration for cargo edition. both tracks on the ep are characterised by elaborate rhythms, a special deepness and intricately arranged sounds. >aramis< tells apparently different stories which merge seamlessly during its 14 minutes. the track also explores the hypnotic moments on the dancefloor in a very subtle and complex manner - reduced but full of vibrancy at the same time. >genau so< on the b-side takes a similar line, but adds a spark of funk, which combines to form its distinctive rhythm. sven tasnadi & juno6 have created two modern house tracks which are full of character.

after his collaboration with label head daniel stefanik for cargo edition 003, sven tasnadi steps up for his first solo release. >el fuego de dentro< features those typical relaxed grooves that remind us of endless mediterranean summer afterhours, hitting exactly that specific spot of abeyance between euphoric celebration and absolute physical exhaustion. his bass drum is never obtrusive but always compelling. svens tracks are ultimately funky, full of funny little sounds swirling around. and not to forget, with >2190 días contigo< mr. tasnadi reveals his epic qualities as well. with this record, mr. tasnadi definitely proves that he is a guy you need to watch out for in the future.

at last the new ep of frabon recordings with the duo aldo cadiz & flod aka flavio lodetti, returns on stage with a remixes from javi bora and sven tasnadi. fbr09 have with sound tech house and techno.
