after numerous remixes, collabs and b2b sets, producers hey joe and josia loos are finally putting their collaborative efforts on wax. english for world of shards, scherbenwelt starts with resonating ambient tones leading into vast depths of an illusionary ambience, abruptly and unexpectedly obliterated by a rapid and thumping beat- it s a tough and unforgiving world the duo reveals through this track. pulling the curtains even further back, lohnarbeit, which translates to wage labour, reveals hard truths and makes no compromises. as the deep and unsettling voice declares, social existence comes at a price: labour. work, and you ll exist. tough words, appropriately reinterpreted through hard sounds. momentous techno, literally driven by the crack of a whip. ryan davis gracefully smoothes scherbenwelt s sharp edges, re-concealing these hard truths behind curtains of smooth melody, thus letting us float back into a daze of daydreams, and illusion.

with the concept-lp trippin thru the tunnel josia recovers the influences of his time in berlin. five tracks are telling the story of an adventurous escape from an exhausting world of technology and control towards a reunion with nature.

josia played his colourful,excessive sound all over berlin at well-known venues as sisyphos or weekend, but also in numerous german cities and in neighbour countries like poland, luxembourg, lithuania or austria. as producer and remixer josia combines dirty electro bass lines with deep psychedelic soundscapes and effects on a base of minimal techno beats

mathias schaffhäusers fourth collection of remixes will be released in march and april 2015 in an exceptionally lavish way. two vinyl eps, each with an additional cd, will be released 4 weeks apart. the vinyls will feature the clubbiest tracks, which also will be on the cds (some of them in uncut original versions), flanked by a handful of more subtle and experimental tunes, making 17 tracks in all.

after many successful tracks on labels like minibus, front, lazerslut and igloo these two georgians guys well seen also by richie hawtin and co. go on splitsound for their first vinyl in techno/minimal style with big impact for the dancefloor. the two tracks in classic split style are enriched by a remix from the talented flavio diaz (young artist already out on label like analytictrail, loos, rilis, weavemusic).

gideon is very well known for promoting his anticlub- parties in his hometown eindhoven and around the netherlands. he released a hell of 12”es on his own label lessismorerecordings, but also releases on other labels like “rebecca loos” on weave music (under alexis tyrel) or just recently “all day all night“ on sino, hong kong. after his 2 pre-lauches on kanzleramt “first impression” (ka141) & “last depression” (ka143), heiko laux picked the tracks for this full length album out of 2000 demo-skits of gideon
