invoking the power of a stampeding herd of mythical beasts, the animais soar o alarme 12inch is a carnivalesque dancefloor exploration that highlights the unbridled percussive sound for which ninos du brasil have become known. according to the label: the a side presents the shadowy duos original track a rollicking and propulsive explosion of beats unified by steady stomping bellows of unknown origin. the b side sees the bunker resident dj patrick russell providing the first ever remix of a ninos du brasil track, imbued with the precision, discipline and restraint for which he has become known, making animais soar o alarme seem all the wilder for his skillful steadying hand

rain text is a new project by giovanni civitenga and giuseppe ielasi. this 4-track ep is the first in a series of records produced using each time a different and fairly limited bank of sounds. giovanni civitenga is a producer from rome, currently living and working in berlin. he has released albums under different monikers on various labels including brainfeeder and huntleys + palmers. in 2014 he started skyapnea, a label and series of broadcasts on nts radio. giuseppe ielasi grew up in the south of italy and now resides in the outskirts of milano. he mostly plays solo, but also in bellows (with nicola ratti) and in duos with enrico malatesta, kassel jaeger, andrew pekler. he has released (short) records on 12k, entr acte, senufo editions, dekorder, error broadcast and other labels and also produces music under the -inventing masks- moniker.

nicola ratti holds a rich history in the world of experimental and minimalist composition, having released music under his own name on labels such as kning disk, anticipate, preservation, holidays, and senufo editions and in recent times concentrating his energy into his collaborative project ‘bellows’, work which has seen the light thanks to entr’acte records and most recently boomkat editions. his latest solo work ‘pressure loss’ finds ratti at a potential turning point in his musical career, exploring rhythm and tonality with a new vigour, in a way which embraces the fluid and consistently evolving modern world of electronic music, yet still references a history of electronics, limiting his sound palette to work only using the serge and arp modular synthesizer.

its pounding bassline creates the energy for powering the main room of now. one for the heads, it features the uplifting vocals of elzi troy and builds steadily before ripping through the speaker. this is atmospheric tech house at its best. no denying that this belter causes rapturous reaction on every play and is yet another floor inspiring track that bellows the signature sound of revered producer sandy rivera
