markus fix & dorian paic come with three beautiful outstanding tracks to release the 006. markus already released on epilog in 14 and now he comes back with dorian, which is a huge honor for our little guild !! the first time we were listening to the tracks, we were blast away! this is exactly what epilog wants/searches/is. because their tracks are produced with love and smart, cleverly devised of experimenting and detail conscious…no tricks no gimmicks..

labelowner dorian paic is teaming up with his good friend felipe valenzuela from chile. since more than a year they are producing and collecting tracks for their ep and came up with these two minimalistic house grooves. the title track of the ep -almost there- get s a nice rework by michael melchner.

viele der antiken heldenfiguren waren zugleich halbgštter oder zumindest gegenstand religišser verehrung. wie war das noch gleich: god is a dj? spa§ beiseite. die zwšlfte ibiza-season des cocoon-teams um sven vŠth hat sich als motto >cocoon heroes< gesetzt. cocoon recordings sorgt deshalb mit der mittlerweile fŸnften summer-mix-ausgabe fŸr die offizielle einstimmung in diese mega-event-reihe. eines der absoluten highlights in dieser saison ist der auftritt von adam beyer am 25. juli. der stockholmer drumcode-labelboss gehšrt seit Ÿber fŸnfzehn jahren zusammen mit richie hawtin, jeff mills und sven vŠth zu den wichtigsten taktgebern der elektronischen tanzmusik. als produzent oft ein garant fŸr stringenten und harten techno, beweist beyer seine vielschichtigkeit mit einem energetischen parforceritt zwischen hypnotisch perkussivem techhouse, dub und acid und Ÿberrascht nicht zuletzt mit einer ausgeprŠgten neigung zu sinn stiftenden vocal-samples. schon bei der opening party im amnesia dabei ist der frankfurter dorian paic, als mit-inhaber der plattenladeninstitution freebase und als label-chef von raum...musik. seit vielen jahren untrennbar mit der rhein-main-szene verbunden. wer dorian paic als dj bereits erleben durfte, wei§ um seine beispiellose begabung, mit geschmackssicher reduzierten und dennoch unverwechselbaren techhouse-juwelen eine ganz eigene geschichte zu erzŠhlen.

after a brief hiatus, the disdat crew is back in action & ready to unveil their third release. dorian paic & federico molinari hit the ground running with “hamal,” a stomper aimed straight at the dancefloor. martinez’s “occurrence” is a psychotropic experience, with distorted whispers and glitches riding over a dark, weighty groove. on the flip, lee burton explores the ethers with “ndn”, a mind-bending work with traces of detroit nostalgia and a drexciyan influence. rounding out the ep is a reissue of the classic “you’re just a body (you’re just a freak)” by scott edwards, first released in 1998 under the name “phlash.” it sounds as fresh as it did almost 20 years, a euphoric and high-energy track guaranteed to move the dance floor.

saint & don t introduces it s second vinyl release, this time we have one of our favorite producers that needs no introduction. felipe valenzuela delivers -prototypes-, some selected tracks from his music series, where he shows the eclectic side of his career, this release also includes a collaboration with dorian paic (raum...musik), reshaping prototype 23 togheter.
