following eight years running the eevonext imprint with stefan robbers, rosedale records aims to showcase hand-picked producers sharing sides with remixes by technos establishment and some of estroes new discovered talents via her own producer advice company. but theres no better way of getting down to business with a pound of no-nonsense, signalling of intent from the boss herself, a nice means of getting the ball rolling and to set future contributors on the rosedale path.

this is a special pre-release from the upcoming album by estroe called >comfort and closure<. this album will be released the 14th of november and we wanted to do something special to celebrate it. thats why estroe asked two producers who she admires a lot to make their interpretation of two tracks from the album, called >sustained illusion< and >ouf of my comfortzone<. both aril brikha and ray kajioka did an excellent job. we are excited about to launch the new estroe album and hope you enjoy this special release.

in addition to our first artist album on connaisseur “estroe – elemental assets“ we present the first single “le flaneur” with interpretations by kollektiv turmstrasse our weimar homies christian rottler & deer. all 12 remixes will be released as remix album in digital plus a few remix extracts on vinyl. look forward to the next packages with remixes from audiofly, ripperton, steve rachmad, melon, beatpharmacy, joel mull, tedd patterson, patrick chardronnet, roberto rodriguez and nuno dos santos. le flaneur - this vinyl extract contains the original version of the track - a melancholic detroit-pop pearl with the lovely voice of miss kittin on top plus two remixes. the first remix is the mindbending kollektiv turmstrasse wald und wiesenreh mix that shows in an impressive manner that the two rising northern stars developed their trademark sound to even a higher and more grown-up level. with their “stumme apotheker rmx” the infamous duo christian rottler & deer give a lyrical answer to the original, its starts as a rather acoustic guitar tune and slowly morphs into a trippy and charming debaucher.

3 talented artits with amazing new tracks !! the fifth release on stolen moments sees three talented artists each drop one massive tune! perc is entering the higher ranks in technoland with one massive release after another on infamous labels such as drumcode, kompakt and his own perc trax. estroe is one of the leading dutch female djs/producers with solid releases on labels such as connaisseur, dualblock, neuton etc.. carl-johan elger is the new name on this ep but only one listen is enough to see his potential. great talent from sweden for the lovers of border community sound! great artists, great release, nuff said!

on the previous release of dualblock taras van de voorde, estroe and thomas lauren all dropped great tracks. on this release the same three dutch producers are represented. thomas lauren on the a-side comes forward with >fairwinds gossip<. a quality track that is great for warming up any crowd. on the flip side estroe takes us a little deeper into the night with >beatbox contest<. a techno based track with a nice drive, making clear estroe is influenced by the detroit sound

big with c-rock, ben watt, agoria, tiefschwarz, mike monday, shinedoe, miss jools, 3 channels, fabrice lig,…! estroe and zoëxenia already teamed up for connaisseurs compilation grand cru 2007 with their wonderful track >dont forget<. this time the ladies share a split ep with one original track and one remix of both. estroes >driven< was already a big success on connaisseur supérieur at the beginning of this year and found its way on some important compilations and cd-mixes like ellen alliens fabric mix. beside her production activities, estroe is a remarkable and stylistically confident dj. famous in the netherlands, but also slowly recognized outside her home country. zoëxenia is a singer and songwriter since her teenage years. her impressing presence combined with her soulful voice made her succeed at the finals of diesel u-music benelux as well as at grote prijs van nederland in 2004. but not only singing is her passion. when she was infected by house music she began to develop her own electronic style as a producer, which ended in her first release on artminimal in spring 2007. more releases on remote area will follow soon

with estroe (connaisseur, 7th sign) from amsterdam neutonmusic is releasing two emotinal and exuberant house/techno tracks with handclaps, catchy bass line and dynamic hi-hats. the remix on the flipside comes from jamie anderson (nrk, outland, om), who is currently enjoy ing the success of nrks re-release of his 2004 underground hit >time is now< featuring a remix from man-of-the-moment, radio slave.

release number 10 introduces us to the music of nachtamt. this is his debut release and he is another one of estroes music advice agency talents.

essential compilation! already played by sven väth, karotte, laurent garnier, jimpster,…. >grand cru< is a term used in the wine business and normally denominates a special wine, which is made from the best grapes of both one wine-producing area and one vintage. the stylistic diversities featured on this compilation arent less refined and versatile. at the same time this compilation boasts of a representative selection of artists who already released on connaisseur as well as up-andcoming new members of our artist pool. this selection is the beginning of a periodical series which will be released on a yearly basis. apart from afrilounge coming along with an elegantly lowered house groove, another artist who has already released on connaisseur, surely jochen trappe will be setting the benchmark with his glitch-rock-tech track. there are more familiar faces to be encountered – for example daso teaming up with his ingenious partner pawas. they both make even the most lame couch potato taste their own very special beaujolais and freak out on the dancefloor - blood , sweat and tears!
