it has been a while since jaxson & david keno have been on keno records but it was worth the wait. calippo is an absolute banger. driven by this oldschool deep bassline climaxing in a breakdown filled with detroit strings this track already rocked many dancefloors all over the world. oliver schories takes it down a notch, gets rid of the strings and takes it into a more melancholic direction but still very danceable. the remix from adrian martin pushes calippo even a bit more in the tech house direction.

nico stojan and david keno team up once again and they delivered a deep and soulful, melodic house record that will make a lot of friends these last days of summer. our hit machine beatamines doesnt let us down this time with his great remix of >how does it feel<. marvin hey and ferdinand dreyssig strip the original track to its basics and come up with a very functional interpretation with a great percussive vibe. lovely.

the restless berliners are back to bring some sun back to the dancefloors. fargo is a real open air hymn which you can only love or hate. an oldschool organ bassline on a minimal house beat topped with strings and disco vocals. this must be a hit. save yourself i a little bit darker but also a pretty strong track with a piano hook that you wont get out of your head too soon. the b side takes it back a notch with the more laid back tracks now youre gone and the fargo remix from the young and talented mass digital from serbia. thats proper deep house here on keno records.

although jaxson and keno both have successful solo projects and have previously worked together before, this collaboration is bound to be their most notable release yet. a fusion of house, funk, latin and techno, all meet at the crossroads of their studios for a 4 track ep of sundry beats and fresh flavors. clearly the a-side, >tout le temps< is comprised of a clever hook and a hazy latino vocal sample, which carries the initial groove right into an originally played synth section. a good example of a refreshing approach to adding effects and using sounds. >tarantella< as the title might suggest, one might expect a track that would scare the living day lights out of you, but it has more of a >creeping up from behind you< sort of vibe. a subtlety creeping groove subliminally enters your unconscious mind carrying a secret message. what is that message you ask? dance! the congas on, >red baron< sound so live you can almost here the players licking their fingers. congas might be the groove in the heart of this tune, but the melody of the slick synth stabs and rising strings are what ultimately breath energy and spunk into this roller. >karate kid< initially has a minimal feel, but once the hacked up guitar and vocals come in, you can put those dirty thoughts to rest. abundant with an overwhelming amount of unique and interesting sounds, secure this tunes ability to prick up the ears of finicky djs and clubbers alike. it is rare to find such a wide variation of sound design on your run of the mill ep, but kindisch has proved they are not an ordinary label. they are consistently releasing quality tunes and always providing pleasant surprises. some might say it is a clichÚ, but this ep really does have a bit of something that will drive one club or another nuts

incl format b remix !! the 6th release on david keno s own imprint comes with a deep harmonic bass and a fragile synthline embedded in a pushing groove. berlin s format b don t have to be introduced any more because everyone knows their incredible releases and remixes on highgrade, stil vor talent, opossum or great stuff. their pattexremix is more stripped down and rough than the original what brings more rave attitude to the dancefloors. that is why we love these guys so much.

track one convinces with hard beats, a hot rhythm spiced with some futuristic tech-house elements. its a real enjoyment for all electronic-music-lovers! the >frankie remix< is really strong and enthralling, but surely in a very good way. the rhythm will catch you and will lead you straight onto the dance floor

this release is a mixture between minimal techno and sweet trancy melodies in the typical david keno style. the stupid, dirty mr. oizo bassline and some kind of rave atmosphere make this track very special and unique. less is not always more. it is time for melodies again... krikor (crack&speed, karat, ark rec) turned the track into a slow and dirty acid groovemonster in his own typical sound.

incl kollektiv turmstrasse remix !! this brilliant new 2 tracker from david keno and francesco passantino is another super cool 2 tracker from this great label that is growing in popularity day by day. the a side is a super deep fat as you like smooth groove with deep chords and swirling rhythms. the flip side is a perfect contrast now with its fat analogue bassline driven groove

david keno has a growing reputaion as a fantastic producer. his own keno imprint started off in fantastic fashion with its first release and highly acclaimed someone else remix. this release follows in in fine style with a fine two tracker from the main man himself. the main a side track is a killer as it starts with its shuffled drum groove and tidy synth bassline. the track then builds ominously with its menacing strings before the big synth break makes the track complete. the flip side is also a worthy addition with its funky groove and cool percussion

david keno is really making a name for himself with some quaility releases on labels like i220. here he has written a quality 3 tracker that kicks ass. the a side is a wonderful string laden melodic track with some fantastic chords and pads. the b1 is another quality piece of music again with its spacey chords and nice percussion and the b2 (great nitsch & gleinser remix!!) perfectly finishes the story with its more darkroom heads down groove !!

joss is a ukrainian producer with a deep understanding of house. he has released his seductive wares on labels like this one as well as get high music and high-jack. a long time vinyl lover, he has played intimate clubs and vast festival all of europe and is now in fine form in production mode, too. opener solely is a deep, shuffling cut with icy hi hats, subtle cymbal splashes and a tight bassline than gurgles and bubbles invitingly. muttered vocals add an all important human element and its a fine effort, once more from the man.

in our opinion alex bau is one of the best harder techno producers out there. his material over the last 5 years has been both energetic and groundbreaking. his material for zenit has been particulrly good and this is new release is is no exception. both tracks are different but equally effective. the a side is a driving hard edged techno cut with its pounding kick drum and sharp percssion. the track is punctauted with catchy synth riffs and stabs to great effect. the flip side is truly monstrous with its dark dirty warehouse feel and fat sub bass and string edits. great, great record
