nearly 6 years in the making, this new 12 inch marks the return of echospaces critically acclaimed intrusion project. the first incarnation of * a gentle embrace* came in the form of three extended reshapes from cv313 & variant and now we are proud to offer the original work on beautiful crystal clear 160 gram wax. this new release was engineered and mixed down from 1/4- analog tape and mastered by bazza (abbey road studios, thom yorke/radiohead) at alchemy, london. we will let the music do the rest of the talking, from our heart to yours...

brand new intrusion! the first killer twelve of 2009 and the perfect way to soothe the post nye hangover. the title track >seduction< is an epic beauty as deep as the sea which does exactly as the title suggest, a sort of seduction of sound if you will, so immersive you could swim in it’s three dimensions. the bass line is so deep you can feel the vibrations in jamaica! the song soars along and in minutes reveals its magical analogue frequencies as shards of blissful chords sail around your speakers in a full spectrum panorama affair so easy to sink into. next up is “silence” leading us into ambient territory for a short but sweet three minute excursion which i could only imagine as a soundtrack while floating in deep space. the release comes to a close with cv313’s near 12 minute rendition, a beautiful dub house soundscape filled with tribal rhythms and gorgeous atmosphere recalling moments from echospace’s landmark album “the coldest season” on modern love. this is music which clearly focuses on every fine detail, filled with loads of space and bass and the analogue warmth we’ve come to love from the echospace signature. as with all things echospace this is severely limited and is pressed on to beautiful coloured vinyl.

following up the intrusion & paul st. hilaire project comes a new release from the intrusion imprint which offers a killa selection of steppas riddims and tropical grooves. intrusions >velocity in a minor< is all about being playful with a sequence, splicing a riddim, stimulating the mind while shuffling your feet. this concludes with the mysterious lo-fi soundsystem up next who make their first 12 inch appearance on intrusion (previously recording under a variety of names strictly on 45) their powerful >de lions den< has been given a second lease on life from its scarce 45 release, (which was only available at a few small record shops in jamaica) this island groove is filled with the dankiest skanks, a melodica on acid and a bassline deeper than the ocean. this mystical midnight groove is given a rework in a 4/4 rhythm and effects from deep space, behind the controls is intrusion front man stephen hitchell who leaves us with a tasty embellishment in fat riddims and icey cold electronics. the b side opens with mildious >de natura rerum< which crosses into territory comparable to intrusions >tswana dub< or the atmospheric dub side of rhythm & sound, a powerful mind melter which does all the rights things in all the right time. the closing >oceanview< paints a picture of just that, leaving you to wander off into the ocean breeze while sinking into its smoky green vapour haze.

remastered double cd edition of intrusions now-classic, the seduction of silence, named and nominated one of the best albums of 2009 in numerous magazines and honorable mentions in the wire, mixmag, dj, xlr8r, textura, urb, go, de-bug, groove, and plenty more. this double cd edition includes never-before-heard songs, outtakes and b-sides to sweeten the deal, none of which were found on the first physical release.

it s been nearly 15 years since this originally hit the shelves, which literally took the immersive atmospheric sound of echospace and brought it right to the floor. with cv313 s -sailingstars- the spirit continues as they go on to preach the gospel of deep with a rippling exercise in space and bass. a sort of slow motion movement in tone and 38 hz sub frequency which nearly verges on the disturbing, a sonic threshold quite hard to achieve in a vinyl cut. the power of repetition and subtle atmosphere are clearly demonstrated here by bringing the listener to an almost hypnotic state within its melodic spatial grooves. the b side offers two immense reductions, equally effective providing a low end throb, analog spirit and organic textures captured in zero gravity, it s like truly sailing among the stars. lovingly remastered and mixed down from the original analog 1/4- reel to reel tape, strictly limited to 300 copies for the world.

italian label greentech was inaugurated by minimono last year with a great remix by windy city legend paul johnson. the second edition features gaetano caruana aka caruan making his debut in production after many years of djing. -tempo reale- is an inventive and off kilter groove generated by clearly analogue means that pounds and grinds away out of sync at first, until it gradually begins to lock and it sounds great. there s some killer remixes by a real who s who of the scene and we can t help but mention all of them! first up fellow italians verrina & ventura deliver a typically stripped and rolling minimal house rendition. croatian hypnotic techno don petar dundov then delivers something more pounding and aggressive than we re used to, but we loved it all the same. finally the -eduardo de la calle tempo intrusion reale remix- sees the spanish master of trance induction deliver one of his best remixes in a while, complete with spooky sci-fi atmosphere, millsian bleeps and sonar blips.

repress - translucent blue - the first twelve-inch of the year from e c h o s p a c e features epic reworks of cv313 s now classic, -seconds to forever- released back in 2010. the first track is a killer dubbed out reversion by intrusion, for the dancefloor or the sofa, this is spaced out sonic submersion of the highest order. there s also 2 beautiful remixes from the brilliant rod modell (deepchord), those touched by his recent output on soma will have a lot to love here. gorgeous plumes of sound all lovely mastered and mixed down from 1/4- analog tape, cut and remastered by bazza (abbey road studios) at alchemy, london. sublime and beyond deep, another exquisite excursion transmitting from the other side of the galaxy.

finally available on wax, cv313 s classic -lost sequence- culled from the celebrated japan exclusive -live- double cd album released back in 2009. this was lovingly remastered by bazza @ alchemy mastering in london, paying close attention to every finite detail. this master has never sounded so good. on the b side there s a rare live version performed by intrusion at a loft event put on by the good folks over @ little white earbuds. this rare recording was reduced and stripped down, core traces of the original swim inside oceanic bass, and modulating frequencies creating an atmosphere all of its own. this is one for the heads.
