im dorf tomari auf der hauptinsel der präfektur kagoshima stieß shotaro aoyama auf ein volkslied, das von den dorfbewohnern während eines bon-tanzes gesungen wurde.
da die sänger verschwunden waren, waren die kassetten, die die inselbewohner besaßen, die einzige tonquelle, und die musik wurde auf der grundlage dieser kassetten produziert.
