when dynamodyse made his debut on wph back in 2009 he struck a chord (pun intended) with lovers of emotional deep house worldwide. hailing from dortmund, mathias matze schmitt is a special character that immediately fit the bunch of wph nutters, so it was only a matter of time before he would be back with a second release. which incidentally will be his second release ever, which goes to show how much he trusts wph and how much wph trusts dynamodyse.

quality house ep with vocal & deeper tracks to keep fans of this great label more than happy..! dynamodyse is the deepest german we know and he is hailing from dortmund, usually only known for sausages and the odd good result of the local football team. as we dont believe in stereotypes and we have been listening to loads of superb teutonic house music these last years, we never questioned the association between the words deep and german and we just listened to the music. safe to say it blew us away.

smile for a while has recently moved to berlin and calls for jana falcon, a local, emerging house music producer . -falling (again boy)- is an intricate fusion of garage and house textures, it s a sultry, catchy tune with stunning spoken-word vocals and a bed of fuzzy beats that give it a really contemporary gloss. things then go off in another direction with the brilliantly named, -contemplation of inadequacy-. this one is crafted on another hypnotic tip, drawing the listener in with another bevy of atmospheric vocals and a bassline that s pure fire. in -petrias house- jana goes for a more upfront house sound. simmering piano keys lend this one a sun-soaked flourish, precisely the tonic for the fast-approaching summer. the release closes with a thoroughly banging remix by we play house man, dynamodyse. a tune that s thoroughly engaging and is sure to get your head in

we here at wph are not ones to celebrate each and every significant number in our history. we do not even consider numbers to be that significant. but what we do believe is that every story has its ending and that every ending should come with a bang. and so we have decided that the regular wph series and the coloured vinyl-only series will come to an end together with one last release. we breing you a collection of three of our most wanted tracks with a little bonus thrown in ... we suggest you go really oldskool and buy double copies of this one, because you will want to play these back to back!
