anma records launch their third release - a 12 inch various artists ep featuring artists from around the globe, each channelling their own brand of scuffed up, driving house and techno with smatterings of lush synths and and popping melodic structures.

the latest signing to flumo is bessiekat. brewed in districts and clubs of moscow, with a label of his own, isaiah tapes, he delivers a strong rhythm with harmonic dispositions, all painted with industrially laced colours of the hardware he uses to create the following pieces. the two originals hearp and pearls share a commonality in developing vivid landscapes of overlapping analogue sonic expositions. however, they differ in the way that the former warms you up and brings you more attentively to the speaker, while the latter throws you back on the deep, dark, early morning dancefloor.

as we move into a new year, again start the cogs of labels and artists around the world, this is certainly the case for disc over music as they bring us their first release of 2015. high off the back of exquisite releases in 2014 from luca lozano & mr. ho and nicson, disc over’s first installment of 2015 comes from label head tim green - a three track ep bursting with two classic tg productions and grooves which is then given another dimension with a remix from the talented german born producer borrowed identity. the ep kicks off with the aptly named ‘scar’ - a track which when heard, truly makes it mark. it sets the tone for the rest of the ep with it’s prominent bassline and haunting howls whilst dreamlike keys bounce and float above. track two, ‘we thought’ is taken down a gear but keeps all of the groove built from ‘scar’. it begins with a simple trademark tg bassline and is allied with light and free singular keys. the listener is then joined by vocals which along with the previous elements take you on a real trip. borrowed identity speeds things up right away with his remix of ‘we thought’. the track is morphed into a dancefloor groove with the comforting vocals darkened, cut and reworked on top of an unpredictable and fluctuating bassline. managing to keep the identity of tim’s original the track becomes something completely different and certainly makes you feel you want to take the trip

after launching with a fantastic first release from label boss tim green back in september, the boutique imprint disc over music is back with an equally impressive second release. this time from klasse recordings chief luca lozano and his klasse crew mate mr ho. together the pair offer up some hugely cultured house music complete with remixes from tim green and new label artist nicson. the ep will be released both digitally and on vinyl following the success of the first, which picked up support from the likes of solomun, marco carola and m.a.n.d.y. amongst many others.
