the latest signing to flumo is bessiekat. brewed in districts and clubs of moscow, with a label of his own, isaiah tapes, he delivers a strong rhythm with harmonic dispositions, all painted with industrially laced colours of the hardware he uses to create the following pieces. the two originals hearp and pearls share a commonality in developing vivid landscapes of overlapping analogue sonic expositions. however, they differ in the way that the former warms you up and brings you more attentively to the speaker, while the latter throws you back on the deep, dark, early morning dancefloor.

stateside based dj aakmael has been making well defined rough and raw dancefloor grooves for some time and a joint collaboration between flumo and anma sees him pushing out a floor filler laden twelve inch.

usa s warren harris aka hanna joins the flumo crew with a 5 track signature ep. known for his own jazz influenced melodies and hard punching broken house rhythms, as well as, collaborations with other prolific artists such as theo parrish and involvement in rotating assembly and key of soul projects. for this e.p. hanna continues exploring the depth of his imagination, challenging his creative output by melding together these trademark sounds alongside ones yet to be discovered by the listener. hanna s well known broken house rhythm is preeminent, with dreamy and melodic keys enhancing the spiritualistic aspect whilst maintaining a catchy groove. all tracks explore the layering of sounds and find ways of keeping such exploration fresh and different from one track to another. 12 inch black vinyl in a plastic sleeve with a printed insert.

flumo s first vinyl offering for 2017 sees chocky returning with three original signature tracks along with a remix from true craftsman orlando voorn. higher synth, the first cut on the record rolls out the instantly recognizable chocky sound to full effect. looped chords set the rhythm in motion & the vocal sample provides just enough variety within the track to mix things up and keep you moving. orlando voorn s take on higher synth enhances the weight and heaviness of the original, the wooden bass kick and crisp synth layers provide a refreshing satisfying take on things. the flip side contains two tracks, first of which is seek deep, a track that similarly maintains chocky s signature vibe whilst also paying homage to deeper, classic house tracks with a spoken word vocal.. this track was first made available on flumo s unreleased highlights volume 4 compilation, and it now sees an anticipated vinyl release. closing off the package is chocky s brush away, a track delving into the hypnotic sphere, where field-recorded vocals and trumpet lines create a late night groove aimed straight at the dancefloor. chocky returns to the label and he delivers.

flumos mainstay ekkohaus returns, this time bringing a full-bodied package for the dance floor. suitably, far fetcher acts as a warm welcome, inviting the listener inside its richly deep analogue soundscapes, reminiscent of deeper sides of classic house rhythms that have come from the usa. its pace provides a perfect way to start off the ep while the synth-vocal creates a soulful depth. things get darker and more aggressive with musketeers, a dub-heavy rhythm that drives one to involuntary movement due to its relentless repetition and & subtle swing. the amalgamation of the synth along with the pulsating sub invigorates one to move and bounce along with these elements. fantasy provides the penultimate party vibe. it s funkiness transcends & the melodies drive the vocals to the extent of ecstasy. rounding off the ep 64 bars features vocals by arthur russel, the synth inflicted break progressions capture the vibe of ekkohaus live sets with its haunting chants hinting towards techno and while its warmth never escapes.

gari romalis keeps on surprising us all, with his amazing ability to produce solid chicago laced beats, full of groove and brimming with soul. so far his music has been released on some highly respected underground imprints, such as rawax, rue de plaisance and bosconi records amongst a long list of others we couldn t be happier to have gari joining us on our vinyl catalogue, plus, along side him for remix duties, esteban adame, half of the renowned los hermanos. esteban is a key member on the ur crew and has been also releasing incredible music on labels such as underground quality, or his own ican productions, which he runs in collaboration with santiago salazar.
