benjas erste platte wurde im november 2009 veröffentlicht und erhielt grosszügigen support von djs wie miss jools, martin landsky, ray okpara, fabrizio maurizi oder tom clark. nun liefert der junge künstler aus zürich eine ep für das stark aufkommende schweizer label esance ab. der titel timeless ist auch gleich das programm: stampfende bassdrums treffen auf knackige percussions, sexy vocals und eine menge groove. tracks für jene momente im club, wo raum und zeit vergessen gehen und der rhythmus im mittelpunkt steht. als sahnehäubchen gibt es obendrauf noch einen remix von homm & popoviciu, welcher es, wie von den jungs gewohnt, exakt auf den punkt bringt. early support by oxia, brothers vibe, chris gruber, dubfire, ekkohaus, jay bliss, lee curtiss, martin eyerer, nick curly, re-up, someone else, andrew grant, anthony collins, axel bartsch, bloody mary, daniel.fx, d.diggler, dj wild a.m.m.

hive audio is here – a brand new label, run by the makers of the infamous hive club, located in the the industrial quarter of zurich. the imprint was founded by samuel gmur and adrian wöllhaf, better known as animal trainer with some great releasing on oliver koletzkis stil vor talent, amongst others. zurich is not only party capital of beautiful switzerland, it is more and more becoming a habitat for talented and creative music producers and djs, who will now get a new international platform. releases will be held mainly by residents of the hive club itself – benja will be given the honour to start off with his track paradose. >paradose< impresses with a funky percussion loop, ultra-brief chords and scantily applied vocal snippets. benja keeps it dust-dry, leaving out every kind of frippery and lifting the track to a real &#64258,,oor-&#64257,,ller without any razzmatazz needed. on the &#64258,,ip we have a remix by christian burkhardt, who needs no further introduction. he turns the number into a real techno loop monster, which will catch you within a few beats, and then wont let loose again. hypnotic and twinkle-toed at the same time, his remix easily will suit any after hour or peaktime set to the same degree. christian burkhardt himself is also one of our favourite guests in the club. this is why, of course, we are double happy to welcome a hive club resident on our hive audio 001.

pablo einzig zeichnet verantwortlich für die vierte scheibe des aufstrebenden zürcher labels miteinander musik. schon für die auf vinyl inzwischen vergriffene mm001 steuerte er einen track bei. nun folgt seine erste ep >blood thru my veins<. sie enthält zwei wunderschöne, traumhaft düstere tracks mit den stimmen von jan blomqvist und carla fellinger sowie remixe von federleicht und benja. pablo einzig demonstriert sein talent, nachteulen und tagträumer gleichermassen in seinen bann zu ziehen, und steckt mit den dunkel-verwunschenen produktionen seinen künftigen musikalischen pfad ab.

rebuilt album is a lp from ethnik groove that includes 6 new remixes from some of the classic tunes (funky moment - gotta go - unexplicable life) produced by paul eg with two bonus tracks. after several singles in collaboration with international renowned artists such as eriko tanabe, quantec, jeff bennett, davide squillace, florian meindel, markantonio and umberto carmignani, ethnik groove has invited benja, david lazzari, paul eg, reto ardour (switzerland), lee burton (greece), philip braunstein (brasil), jeff bennett (sweden). they frequently release outstanding lp on various international labels. these artists were chosen for their musical feeling and for their collaboration on brilliant tunes released on ethnik groove and minimo imprint, our techno-minimal division. musical approach the concept was to regroup artists with a diverse range of musical flavour in one lp to obtain a non -superficial album. the original tracks have a different approach from the techno tunes produced nowadays. the idea was to keep the same groove with a current trend to allow the artists to add their own musical flava in a defined style between techno, minimal and tech-house.
