the second m_recs release confirm the label concept: pure techno sound. in this release max m (m_recs owner) presents the title track >egg< with his repetitive groove characteristic. three big artists make the remixes. the first one by the english chris finke (flux recordings), the second one its too hard by the dutch techno master bas mooy (audio assault) and the third rmx is by the dutch intelligent techno artist charlton ravenberg (labyrinth, audio assault). if this is just the second release, i cant imagine the future of this label. its a concentrate of the best techno for all the techno crowd. big!

hot on the heels of the excellent bad cop bad cop ep comes the amazing new four tracker from smear, otherwise known as one half of forward strategy group, encompassing all that is good when it comes to hypnotic, rhythmic techno. think old school jeff mills meets marcel dettmann with a bit of throbbing gristle thrown in for good measure, youd be hard pushed to find a more essential techno record this year.
