vent is revisited by an old friend, bringing visions and prophecies of times to come. arbiter’s message is bleak and machinistic, telling of a future where objects and subjects lose their boundaries and entangle. pockets of resistance will never give in to the oppressive powers that be, and will dance to the never ending percussive rhythms and melodies they worship. the revolution is not in sight for them, but never forgotten.
vent goes dark and deep with this fourth release, which so far has received nothing but great reactions. following the success of tolga baklacioglus raw message in *restless punk*, this time arbiter and tolga teams up for a split ep in order to further define the essence of vent.

little is known about the london-based producer and dj who goes by the name of u, but that hasnt quelled praise from bedroom heads, industry tastemakers and big name press alike. audio arbiter george fitzgerald originally met u on a holiday in greece and immediately commissioned a handful of 12inches, each brimming with trademark mechanical bliss, like pleasure tinged with menace. u has since gone on to release for erol alkans phantasy sounds (both as a solo artist and in collaboration with babe, terror as btu), being given the nod by the guardian, mixmag and the line of best fit.
