congo natty, auch ehemals bekannt als rebel mc, ist zwar nur ein mann, aber genauso auch der kern einer familie und ganzen bewegung. mit *jah warriors* erscheint die erste single aus dem ende juni erscheinenden album *jungle revolution* und kommt in genialen mixen von u.a. benny page, serial killerz, dem neuen ninja tune signing machinedrum und joker! nuff said!

congo natty is one man, a family, a movement. mikail tafari aka rebel mc stands at the core, but as jungle revolution shows, he is the lens that brings the whole into focus.
ten tracks long, jungle revolution clearly lays out the way in which tafari sees jungle as a re-boot of roots reggae for a new century.
the message of reggae is ras tafari and ras tafari is love, he explains. they sang about love but they was also prophesying and talking about the system, talking about things that were going on in the world. i saw jungle as being that same music, where we were going to spread a message.

la la & the boo ya are marf & eddie, a sibling collaboration based in west yorkshire, uk. they describe the music they create as songs for dancefloors and kitchen tables. music is in their blood, and the eclectic flavours they grew up with have shaped their unpinnable sound. be it their dads john peel cassettes or their uncles ska band, family folk songs round the fire or mums car speakers pumping soul and reggae, big sisters smiths records or big bros jungle-mania – it is all there, with plenty more to boot. they cut teeth with their skills and got hooked on bass music during the latter half of the 90s.
