united through friendship, music and a love of wine, jubei and marcus intalex made these tracks over the course of two meetings in manchester. they found that their ideas nearly always complimented each other resulting in music that reflected both of their personalities, ensuring that marcus’ talent, creativity and humour lives on.

silent dust is the project of uk duo dan blishen (originally from manchester) and andy hobbs (hailing from kent), who produced drum & bass together for years under the respective monikers zyon base and hobzee. their self-titled debut, *silent dust*, brings their signature d&b sound into a different light, drawing from a wide range of influences - ambient, drum & bass, garage, dub, breakbeat and soundtracks.
this special package bundles the full album cd with a 12 inch ep featuring massive remixes from marcus intalex and om unit.

marcus intalex has been a supporter of exit records since its inception, both regularly playing the labels music and also djing at the exit club nights over the years. he is often billed on the same lineups as dbridge due to their similar tastes and no nonsense selection policy but oddly enough, this is his debut release on exit. two tracks, *gripped* and *qwer key* showing off marcus trademark sound which as always appeal to both the dance floor and the headphones.

soul:r returns from a break to release a brand new marcus intalex 12 inch. >sell your soul< hardsteps with menacing bass and >you shouldn<t have to sell your soul< vocal drops. the weighty mix of rough beats, shuddering bass and gorgeous vocals slide sweetly over a swirling background. >guillotine< is a much more sinister track. marcus creates a vibe that is full of bruising techno fear, whilst brilliantly funky. robot stabs, with a dose of the abstract, this built for big sound systems and will suck you in.

to many people, metalheadz needs little introduction. the pioneering drum and bass record label was founded in 1993 by doc scott and goldie, and has been home to some of the drum and bass scene’s brightest talent. the metalheadz back catalogue features almost every major figure in the history of the genre, with artists such as photek, dillinja, adam f, source direct, ed rush & optical contributing major productions to the imprint.

now douglas greed has gathered some of his favourite drumnbass producers and friends around his campfire and asked them to come up with remix tracks for his douglas greed persona. the result is three different remixes by marcus intalex, klute as well as by miguel ayala and chopper a.k.a. einzelkind.

with the original appearing on shogun audio in 2006, faceless was the perfect candidate for a rework from one of the best remixers in the scene. marcus intalex stepped up to the challenge, stamping his own unique, techno influenced sound on the track. solvent is commix at their best.
