Around was the first song from Same Language Different Worlds that everybody heard. Tim Burgess had sent a home made CD-R to Lauren Laverne as soon as the record was completed and she texted asking if a song could be featured on the 6Music show that morning. Peter Gordon and Tim had spent the precious few months crafting the album in New York, Norfolk & Manchester - Tim sent the song to Pete Kember and proclaimed the resultant remix as “one of the best tracks I ve ever had the pleasure of being involved with”. With additional remixes by Nik Void, David Cunningham and JD Twitch (Optimo), it’s a perfect vinyl release to celebrate the tenth RSD.
