Vertex is a label collaboration between Verdant Recordings [Andy Green] & Exalt Records [Jamie Bargeman] releasing underground electronic music across the deep spectrum.

Our fourth release is from the studio of Havantepe (Ismail Genc) highly regarded and loved for his elegant, meticulously produced deep techno that has been moving dance floors and satisfying discerning minds for the last 2 decades. His collectable and prized records have been released by Baum, 200, Grounded in Humanity, Berg Audio, Luck of Access and of course several tracks & remixes on Verdant Recs.

Rain on Window was conceived when Andy and Ismail finally got to hang out in Istanbul a couple of summer’s ago. There are 5 tracks on the vinyl and a bonus tracks appears on the digital release. Overcast is sublime, emotional electro based percussion layered with signature Havantepe feels and melodies. For Rain on Window and Condensation the bpms are taken higher for head down dub techno stompers. Verdant regular Stojche contributes a brilliant version of Rain on Window, acknowledging the truest flavours and spirit of dub editing. Insiders Ulf & Ralf make their debut vinyl appearance with their atmospheric bealtess, ‘Cloudburst’ reconstruction of Overcast.
