lelio luttazzi was a multifaceted artist, a jazz lover (whose favourite pianist was erroll garner) who left his mark as a pianist, musician, conductor and composer. during a career spanning more than 50 years, he established himself as a master of several disciplines such as music, literature and cinema. “i miei stati d’animo” (my feelings) is one of his greatest records, where you’ll find all his irony and wittiness, his versatility and priceless talent. a beautiful easy listening jazz work, completely instrumental and way ahead of the time it was released (1971).
