we have reached number 10. time to celebrate with a remix edition of the deep88 & melchior sultana project. awaiting the album release (later 2014) we asked 2 of our heroes if they would like to make a remix for us. with a lot a lot (and a lot) of happiness we announce the nightwave remix by ben >cozmo d< cenac, formerly known as dream 2 science (and sha-lor and newcleus and the cellar boyz), that made us a wonderful space trip with his dreamy synths and stylish drums. the other remix is >yo house< treated by the excellent australian producer andras fox, that converts the song into a super classy deep house one with a lot of hiss and love. the man behind > running late> really made some magic over the melody of yo house, as usual with the aim of analogue warm-tape-feel and his crazy skills.

we re very proud to bring you gottwax ep1, the first release on our brand new label. running a label is something we have always dreamt of - with our fifth birthday looming, now seemed like the perfect time to branch out. we have always been 100% focused on running the festival, but we thought that expanding on our ideals and putting out a record would allow us to help the artists, who have helped us for the last few years, gain further exposure. the inaugural gottwax ep1 is a 180-gram heavyweight record limited to 300 copies, it has been complied in conjunction with nixwax and features exclusive tracks from behr, ojsmooth, rob amboule and eldoko - all of whom appeared on the nixwax stage at last year s gottwood festival.

bobby b (a.k.a andre ferreira) is perhaps best known as bobby browser, as he is previously issued a pair of eps for the 100% silk label under that name. those records were excellent, but its fair to say that his icee hot debut finds ferreira exploring a richer, deeper sound. >history< is slow-burning deep house jaunt that subtly nods to detroit along the course of its soul-drenched journey. >so true< warms things up, but only slightly, as its relaxed tones, warbling melodies, and loosely stitched breakbeat offer a blissed-out path to the dancefloor.

sonodab is a new project that consists of a series of exclusive limited vinyl issues and sounds themselves, with the highest quality, both in audio processing and the manufacturing process of vinyl, all 100% analog. the first release includes four tracks, textures, sounds and rhythms where deep bass and creating a timeless constant groove predominate. an indispensable ep for any moment, can not miss in your bag.

kubic records present the new vinyl release, 100 limited copies spindle by robert feedmann, a sound track deep minimal with a large defined environments under which together with the atmospheres make a great piece of music.

it is the first single he has released on a label besides 100% silk, the home of his two full-lengths and three eps. this shift is embodied in the tracks, too, as octo octa sharpens his effervescent sound to a harder, more floor-focused edge.

strictly ltd to 100 copies! introducing charmin records. a new vinyl only label out of east germany started by long time dj and producer florist. the vision of the label is to release quality, underground house and techno by friends and fellow music evangelists on vinyl. the first release teams up producers tilman and florist for their first collaboration together and the result is a well rounded collections of quality house music focussed on the dancefloor. the ep kicks off with >sunday roll< which is a deep, laid back excursion into >proper< house music. the track is underpinned by solid percussion with easy rhodes and piano chords weaving in and out of distant vocal samples. the emphasis here is on warmth and soul. >blind< is a more heads down affair, with energetic drum patterns and a lovely, well rounded bass that bumps its way through the track. >i cant stop< takes us into more stripped down territory, with a rough edge to it. finally >deep reflection< pairs up dreamy, reverb washed chords with a heavy, unrelenting rhythm section. with this ep charmin records look to lay out their stall and show the public what is to come from this exciting new label.

3th keep on releasing techno with an eclectic vision, although - for this output - each track has its different shades and rhythmic approaches. divided into four acts, it sounds like the journey continues after the previous appearance of lucindo on the label with *the twenty-ninth act*.
act 83 and 86 are both powerful tools that are lead by acidic repetitive patterns and distortions.
act 100 contains a raw and strong beat that travels through cosmic and epic soundscapes.
as conclusion, act 63 is characterized by emotional melancholic melodies and brain-dance music, accompanied by succession of rousing rhythmic evolutions.
