this is the debut release of greek prolific drum & bass artist msdos on tempo records. four diverse & energetic tracks of the highest quality covering all styles of the drum & bass / jungle spectre.

fallow presents his debut ep on the freshly established chow down label 6 typically epic and emotive tracks from the semi-infamous manchester-based dj & producer. on side a fallow serves up 3 gigantic grime instrumentals with all the bravado, theatrics and outrageous samples the genre has to offer. the tracks are as cinematic as they are energetic, weaving pulse sounds, choirs and dreamy sino samples into breakneck dance-floor gear to great effect. on the flip fallow adopts his dj chalice moniker to explore his softer side. still bursting with colour and melody, the tracks are as indebted to sunny dancehall records as they are a raw uk sound. peppering carefree mallets and flutes with angelic chipmunk vocals, chalice still captures the producers unique ear for bold melodies and vivid sounds.

over the past several years, j(ay).a.d has released several eps touching on footwork, dubstep, grime and dancehall, approaching dance music with a wide open lens that tends to blur accepted genre lines. a bjork co-sign earlier last year jettisoned the amsterdam-based artist into the popular consciousness. raised in suriname, j(ay).a.d is the consummate dance music outsider and despite living in amsterdam, his music hardly ever fits in with the citys house and techno hegemony. the ogri ai ep is very much a blueprint record, simultaneously paranoid and dark, its seeped in industrial dread and natural beauty. and while many of j(ay).a.ds contemporaries attempt to create more alien sounding music at the expense of a human element, the ogri ai ep has been a overlooked milestone for the hybrid footwork & grime realm, and its now back on re-stock.

soothsayer returns with its twentieth vinyl plate and proudly presents the addition of ss015 and artist thought to the roster. hailing from sofia, bulgaria ivan sotirov (thought) has quickly built a reputation for employing the hardest beats to be had in eastern europe. having played therapy sessions and released a 12 inch on the famed uk label, obscene, thought rise to prominence continues with his soothsayer debut – a slab of heavy tribal breaks and halfstep riddims dubbed up plenty of dark bass.

hardline boss paulblackout returns with two heavy dnb/hardcore crossover tracks, to follow on from the broken, deep beats of the previous leepshec release. >curse on one self< features tough sounding vampire samples and builds up to a crazy drop which will have you throwing shapes and playing air drums like a madman (or woman) on the flip is >all you mfs< which makes use of an amusing cartoon sample and stomps along to a halftime breakdown with double kickdrums to activate fist pumping mode. vinyl release also includes an evil illustration by camila carmody, with dj support from dj hidden, dj producer, simon underground, mark n and more. this is how we are kickin it!

rogue state ? logical regression - another meaty slab of rogues own niche influenced dubstep style, this track was influenced by the mighty ltj bukem. rogue is on top form here with depth and emotion created through the synthy intro whilst the tearout drop will get anyone moving. twisted ? infect - hailing from germany and part of the dutty dubs crew, twisted is starting to make real impact on the international scene. the super slick mixdown is what first attracted us to him but it was this phenomenally heavy weight track that made us decide to release twisted. bass face time!
