following four long years of sonic hibernation, the shadowy sneaker fiends behind the shoebox series have decided to deliver a fourth ep of intoxicating musical fusions rich in dusty deepness, hazy grooves, kaleidoscopic electronics and glassy-eyed musical mysticism. some tracks feed the dancefloor while others reward horizontal listening all are suitably wide-eyed and tantalizingly tactile.

this is a 12inch single by shoebox, a previously unheralded blip on the electronic music continuum. they sometimes make music, but only when the moon is rising. mostly, they bide their time, inhabiting the shadowy space at the back of the cupboard alongside out-of-date tins of food, unloved christmas presents, forgotten records and misguided charity shop purchases

after the debut ep from 2011, shoebox returns with their follow up ep shifted. shoebox comes from deep within, creating souls pastiches. shifted provides uplifting steaming dusty soul music. shoebox will continue to create stuff that sticks. tip!
