returning with his signature sound, cuartero is releasing his moon crash ep on the revered hot creations. two high-paced, underground rollers to energise and hypnotise, completed by a masterful groove-heavy remix from dj sneak & tripmastaz. moon crash combines a sturdy, looping low-end and rhythmic, mid frequency percussion. a playful mix of synth and vocal chops, stabs and blips, transform into an invigorating ride. the legendary dj sneak and fellow house gangster, tripmastaz, combine forces on their sp1200 fire mix, turning the original moon crush on it’s head with affected vocals, a rejuvenated bassline and a jackin’ house beat. cuartero hails from malaga, spain, and has been releasing music since 2009 on labels like desolat, moon harbour and saved. in 2015 he was named best newcomer dj at the dj awards and in 2017 he won best tech house artist and artist of the year at the vicious music awards.

talented spanish producer cuartero masterfully combines house and techno to deliver four of his best works to date for the mighty hot creations. this heavy 4 tracker has been getting heavy support from jamie jomes & richy ahmed ever since they signed it. making a serious impact, title track ‘dioneli’ is a rolling monster with raw, dominant percussions, while ‘liquido’ follows suit as a heavy duty weapon. on the flip ‘manipulated’ is a melodic masterpiece with a bouncing bassline and sultry vocals. completing the package ‘smooth early’ rounds off with more sonic bassline action. spanish bred cuartero began producing at the tender age of 15, launching his first release in 2009. releases soon followed on labels such as, desolat, viva music and moon harbor recordings

the new desolat x-sampler comes as a 2x12 inch package with eight tracks, and includes a download code that gives the buyer those eight tracks in digital format, plus another six digital tracks. in keeping with tradition it features a combination of artists who have already graced desolat before and artists who make their debut on the label.
