this is the first record on slow motion’s sister label, wrong era. wrong era takes the name from our monthly berlin party and has a focus on international artists who are dealing in all things electronic and discoid. the first release comes courtesy of kruton aka milo smee (bintus, power vacuum), who brings four tracks of mechanical funk and tweaking disco. included in the package is his remix of friction by gold blood, a track that has long been a secret weapon for a few select dj’s. there are also three brand new original tracks of heavy ebm jams that are guaranteed to keep dance floors moving all night long. wrong era arrives in a physical format with a bang!

unxplored beats is the sisterlabel of mark brooms pure plastic to release tracks that are off that 4/4-path. kruton brings us his definition of electro, remixed by midnight funk association and kold grease.

straight up bent techno. a fierce jacking groove with an outrageous sub-bass element and awesome live drumming. this one has echoes of funky industrial stuff like nitzer ebb but is 100% of the moment.

to all intents and purposes this is the 2nd binary chaffinch release (except its not billed as binary chaffinch cos its milo on his own and its not got a vocalist. binary - 2, chaffinch - songbird). similarly insane as false energy and even more dancefloor friendly, milo has pulled out all the stops on this one. this is the one to drag dissidents wonky leftfield aesthetic kicking and screaming into the primetime dancefloor chaos. only 200 copies knocking about!
