finale sessions launch a new series entitled unreleased, and their kicking things off with label boss michael zucker sparring with jonno & tommo (more commonly found lurking around labels like ornate). as you would expect from finale, its a deep house masterclass, with jonno & tommo leading the proceedings with the deft piano licks and hard grooving sub bass of dirty nylons before zucker steps in with the pattering rhythms and swooning pads of just believe. on the flip zucker embraces a gentle strain of electro for narrow is the gate before jonno & tommo round the record off with the immersive tones of shark city.

we at finale sessions are excited to have french producer anaxander and finale sessions owner michael zucker together for this deep house jewel ! we start with anaxander and his track stabs of love one of the best tracks on the ep with drums from another planet and its stabing chords the permiate the dance floor ! and wicked hi hats that shread through this massive track. then we move to anaxander s other track heart to heart which gives this record a sense of deepness with it s percussions and its rythmatic keys then we move to michael zuckers first track greator is he another jem off this massive ep and we start with the melodic keys and pads that give this track a very persusive sound and a very potent late night dance floor killer top to bottom. last but not least we have michael zuckers missing you this one is a floor stomper for sure with hard kicking drums and its filtering keys and its punch love dub sound which gives this record the hardness to stand its ground.

mentha records steps up with a various release called into yourself featuring four emotive compositions that span the deep house spectrum. tides by michael lovatt starts the 12inch with lush chords and a deep baseline that gives off a warm feeling. kareem ali is up next with arnaldo tamayo mendez, a sensual track that is packed full of frequencies as ali shows off his harmonic and arrangement skills. the flip side begins with an anaxander piece called unspoken , with an emotive motif that displays homage to a classic deep house sound. michael zucker is holding up the last leg with together, this melancholy tune seeps its way slowly into your cells through an invasion of warm tones. into yourself is a solid 12inch for the deep house soldiers.

owner operator of finale sessions music michael zucker has brought you a sister label called future sessions music to showcase his own music with close friends and family and we are excited to able to share this label with you. starting with our first release with the detroit veteren norm talley and finale sessions veteren michael zucker and we will start with norm talleys music first with the track called * power* it has the sublime detroit deep sound with its sharp chords and that pumping deep kick and claps and it also has additional work from another detroit legend delano smith but what makes this track is the fantastic vocals from the soul. track two * lock jaw* is just raw beatdown late night track with deep chicago classic sound with a pumping kicks and mind altering synth. then next we have michael zuckers first track * parisian nights* with it classic filtered classic chicago sound with proper pads and chords with a vocal drifting in and out of the spectrum . track two * thought process* is just an amazing deep inspired melodic trip with key’s and that classic b4 organ that sets the tone for the pads and that lifted filtered sound . we are excited to be able to work together norm talley and myself and we hope you enjoy this journey also.

finale sessions founder michael zucker steps into the limelight with his first full ep for the label in the five years it has been running. zucker has of course featured on a handful of split releases from finale but he doesn t waste any of the space afforded here with a quartet of superb and varied productions. leading the way, techno track his spirit bristles with life and percussive energy whilst inner city peace will likely raise some interested eyebrows in west london thanks to its killer broken beat programming. face down, zucker dips into his personal archives for an unreleased and rather crisp remix of introspective and jenifa mayanja hookup when the rain comes down whilst the wonderfully named spiritual graffiti ends the release on a high note

finale select series is back to bring you one more from one of chicago s finest producer boo williams and finale sessions boss michael zucker and we start with boo williams song - reckless thought - with its magical keys and it thick pads it has chicage written all over it for sure and then last but not least we have michael zucker with his track good times- it has a jazz feel to it with it moving drums and its wicked bassline. this ep will sure to please the deep at heart.

if you re going to launch a label, it s always wise to start with a bang. that s exactly what newcomers audio visual have done here, recruiting detroit veteran terrence dixon and chez damier cohort michael zucker (boss of finale recordings, no less) for a four-track trip into deep techno and intergalactic house. dixon goes deep into the groove on the hissing, intoxicating deep techno roller -mta-, before delivering a touch more melody on the retro-futurist gem -over the top-. zucker, on the other hand, opts for a jaydee-does-deep house feel to -foundation (part 1)-, before setting off towards the heavens with the deliciously deep, smooth reflections
