Following a slew of acclaimed releases on Left Blank and Tri Angle, as well an album with the much lauded Young Echo collective, Vessel debuts on the burgeoning Liberation Technologies imprint with three diverse cuts of inimitable off-kilter electronics. *Misery Is A Communicable Disease* serves as a euphoric opener, primed for moments of escapism on or off the dancefloor with resonant hats and an exultant synth line laid bare upon a bed of gauzy pads and valve-warmed kicks. VMI is a different beast altogether, channeling the visceral spirit of minimal wave and punk aesthetic to create a sordid call to arms before the frenzied acid and lingering menace of *Not For Design* closes the record in typically deranged fashion.
