Everybody likes Doumen, but also everybody says >Oh no ... I love Doumen, but its hard to play their records in my DJ Sets or to have a party with them...< So this is why we founded Van Doumen. It is a rework sublabel, completely based on original Doumen material, following the idea of tracks that work in DJ sets, but still have the Doumen spirit. The first record was done by Scherbe (Uncanny Valley, Big Bait, ..), Philipp Matalla (Kann Records, Internasjonal Spesial, ..), Webermichelson (Holger) and Potensia (Modern Soul, ..). The first two tracks are superb club smashers, followed by an angry caricature monster of techno and finally potensia walks you home in the most intimate and beautiful way possible. To be honest, we say this record as a first step of Van Doumen is a classic already.
