When it comes to deep and soulful inspired house grooves with a touch of sweat and grit we like so much, few comes close to Soulphiction. This four track EP got that and more. Ear-grabbing opening track Bizzness starts things off in classic Soulphiction mode with its deliciously bass-heavy funk stomp. Cart People is a fine slice of deep house going deeper and deeper as the groove develops. The first track on the flip, Slow Glow , brings warm vibes and great melodies together in a clever way. Finally Sweet Dreams is another fine example of house music that is deep, full of soul and comfortingly loose, Mr Fingers style but done the Soulphiction way.
