Ralph Lawson used >Beaten< as the last track on his recent 2020Vision compilation. This jerky sporadic groove gives a nod to the forefathers while holding down a beat anyone would be proud of. The single comes complete with remixes from Art Of Tones, fresh after last year’s huge >Praise<. This mystery outfit has now signed to 2020Vision and this is the first of many bombs from them. Art Of Tones take the track directly to the dancefloor and produce two versions that would slay Berlin’s Panorama bar at 9 on a Sunday morning.
