Evan Shornstein, who is the man behind Photay, has explored a broad range of sounds over the past decade. Raised in Hudson Valley and based in Los Angeles, the multi-instrumentalist moves seamlessly across genres and his work includes quasi-IDM and electronic pop, experimental sessions with new-age icons like Laraaji and Carlos NiNo and electronic folk-jazz collaborations with global musicians.
