Akwaaba released 2 albums on Idjut Boys label Discfunction and were championed by some legends such as Francois K, Ron Trent and Larry Heard. Under the Mudd alias Paul has released on key nu disco labels Rong, Noid, Big Bear, Vertige, Stranger, Session, Discograph and Cottage. Mudds signature sound is a live, song based take on the spaced out disco trip made popular by Lindstrom & Prins Thomas/Rub & Tug/Idjut Boys & Quiet Village.
