Marius Vareid revisists the title track of last years debut album in two version here and other than the connotation that telemark evokes, its perfect summer bizniss in the 12inch edit version thanks to its bobbing flanger chords, the unhurriedly striding bass melody and the carefree clattering percussion. the Klubb Version sticks to its promise, keeps the trademark chords but they sound way more athletic in its sparser environment of beefed up drums and frantic percussion. powered by a slightly moody feeling bassline and its buoyant, exuberant synth melodies the brand new il tempo gigante on the flip is a prime example of the scintillating, heady mixture of disco roots, house and dub antics. as an extra bonus Prins Thomas adds a tropical-sticky interpretation of villa farris (originall version on fp024)
