After a long summer break, Deep Explorer is back to the game with the "Space Space EP" by .MAHAL. For this project we call 'the joint venture', we are teaming up alongside our brothers and sisters from Inner Shift Music. This collaboration starts with the first 12" which will land on Deep Explorer and ends with the second 12" on Inner Shift Music. .Mahal. is a Japanese producer and dj that grew up surrounded by the healthy mixture of hiphop, house, jazz, rock and other eclectic sounds. Much of this music was played by his favourite radio show on NHK-FM, when he was a teenager. He began playing music at age 18, as guitar player in a noise band. Not long after, he started buying more music and became a dj, which quickly led to producing his own beats. His first official release was with Rough House Rosie. The "Space Space Ep part 01" contains 2 original tracks that dive into deep house and acid techno beats. It includes remixes by the mysterious Man-drake, taking one of the originals into the downtempo zone. Following that is the Brad P remix, which gives an alternate deep and atmospheric sound to the original, and Rai Scott closing the EP with an ambient reshape of an inedit track by .Mahal.
